This hostel is very basic. It is perfect. It is located right near the train station. It is a very good base for exploring the area. Lots of parking, good hot water, a nice clean kitchen. Very near good resturants and parks in town.

You may want ear plugs as the station could be noisy.

We had a bad experience! On the first night itself, we noticed bed bugs in each of the four beds. Not 1-2 but we counted around 18!! We didn't want to get our luggage infested, so had to find another accommodation in Slovakia and move out in the middle of the night, when there was a thunderstorm outside. It was not comfortable, to say the least. Now, the next day, when I informed the property, instead of showing some empathy or apologizing, they straightaway denied that there were any bed bugs. I have shared with them the photos (the dropbox link for video was deleted by Booking.com chat history for some reason), where you can clearly see the bed bugs inside the bed and also bugs' blood stains on a white sheet placed under the bedsheet. I'm not sure what else evidence I could present. If I were them, I wouldn't even ask for an evidence, let alone defying and attacking the client back. I would simply be alarmed by that feedback and call the pest control. I submitted a request for partial cancellation through Booking.com which the property accepted. However, later they refused to refund the charges for the second night, when we moved out in the first night itself.
