Lantica Filanda is a pearl located in a small village Cima on the shore of Lugano lake. The apartment is beautifully decorated by small paintings of birds, plants and scenes from rustic life from XVIII century. It has everything you may need and even more. We were allowed to check in earlier for additional 20€ and the owner was waiting for us at 10 a.m. There is a small garden that belongs to the apartment and you can relax close to the lake in summer months. Very nice restaurant La Taverna is just 50 meters away. A small supermarket is close to the restaurant but if you need a bigger one, you have to drive 10-15 minutes. Free parking can be found within walking distance.

The house is located close to the road, so you might hear the cars passing by in the night and in the mornings. The owner wanted to charge us additional 40€ for floor heating but I found out that it was actually included in the price.

The private common garden at the lake was so amazing!!!! 💜 Really friendly host! The apartment is big and clean! Only in the kitchen/bathroom we missed out of some basics... Garbage bags, dishwashing soap, handsoap, toiletpaper.... Offcourse you can by this all in the shop nearby which we did.

To bad that in 2021 we had to pay extra for Wi-Fi connection. It was also the only place where we had to pay the tourist taxes by arrival.

- near to the lake - helpfull and friendly polyglot host - beautiful environment - spacious appartment for family of 4 - good wifi - private (shared with other appartments) garden (although you have to cross the road)

- hygiene could have been better (some spider webs, fungus in the coffee filter, dog hair under the seat - it's a pity you have to pay €20 when you arrive past 18h00 - airco would have been nice, but the vent was also ok :-)
