good location, clean comfortable

Excellent location in the centre of Rhayader, good base for exploring the local area as part of a small walking group. Free off-road car parking. The owner Sian is very friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast not included in the price (although I appreciate that some guests may not want breakfast anyway).

Very clean and comfortable room, hearty breakfast, excellent location and parking. Very cheerful, friendly and attentive hostess. Good value for money.

Nothing major. Room and shower cubicle are compact, but not a real problem for a 3 night stay. Not a vast choice of breakfast (no fruit or yoghurts) but food was well presented, hot and tasty. Full Wesh breakfast was excellent.

The property was nice and clean liked the wood beams and it was central to pubs and restaurants.

The shower didn’t heat up properly which meant a chilly wash, the heating seemed to be on a timer as well as the radiator went off at certain times, and the property was on a main road so windows could be upgraded to double glazing as quite noisy.

Stayed a few times now and never has it been less than brilliant

The owners are friendly and always helpful and the rooms are good value for the money.

It was a lovely room, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and delicious. Everything was clean and well kept. Siân, the owner, was an exceptional host. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The macerator was noisy when you flushed the toilet, but there's not much you can do about that!

The location was excellent for touring.

The room was cold on arrival, it seemed it had not been cleaned thoroughly for a long time, there were cobwebs in every corner and dust on the headboard and other flat surfaces, the heating system came on at odd times was noisy when it did and kept us awake, the towel rail never worked in the bathroom, in our opinion the towels were never changed and we had to dry them on any available radiator

we had a suite which was huge, location right in town was lovely

mattress rock hard on double bed but they did make up another bed for us on the Saturday night. No slip mat in the bath for the shower, we are elderly and found it quite dangerous and the light in the bathroom was very poor.

There were some noisy neighbours who we could hear talking through the (surprisingly- given the solid construction of the property) thin wall separating our room from theirs.

Very well presented room, good location, good parking, very pleasant staff, great room with facilities and the breakfast was excellent - highly recommend and would book again.
