A couple of nights as a quick getaway and can't fault the place, great host great breakfast and the king room was brilliant. Spotless and comfy with no requirement to ask for anything. Great experience.

Breakfasts were very good and facilities in the rooms were also great.

The heating only came on for a short while in the evening. The host wasn't very friendly but cooked a great breakfast.

breakfast was as very good location had a great view of mountains. parking was in front of house and free. it was a 12 min walk to centre village where we had a nice meal in 16th pub/restaurant overlooking the river Wey

Watch Red Kites from your bedroom window! (We had King room at front) Location- Just out of town in a quiet residential area, close enough to walk to town to get food but away from street noise. Breakfast was excellent and included in price Very clean and comfortable.

Bryn Derwen was just what we needed for our short stay looking up some family history. Very friendly and a very comfortable room. . Lovely fluffy towels and a good size bed.

Our room was so spacious and immaculate. The bed was so comfy and the pillows... Oh the pillows were like marshmallows! The bathroom is enormous and i loved the jacuzzi bath. Fresh milk for the tea tray in a flask is a great touch. Breakfast is brilliant and a lovely selection of cereals, yogurts and jams. The cooked selection is cooked to order and was delicious. We had a great stay with the bonus of a pair of red kites flying over the road outside . Thank you Dick

Nothing not to like to be honest. It is parking on the road which was fine for us. We went to quite a busy and noisy pub for dinner and will take up Dicks recommendation of the triangle inn next time.

Home from home spotless the jacuzzi bedroom was beautiful very comfortable bed lovely big shower lovely fluffy towels. The breakfast was beautiful really hot dick was the perfect host we would visit again for sure 😊

Lots of nice little touches, like fresh cold milk in a thermos flask, good selection of drinks and biscuits in the room, chocolates on the pillow. Good comfy bed, lovely view and excellent breakfast.

Lovely comfy, clean and spacious room with a big ensuite. Great location that was walking distance to everything in Rhayader and close to the Elan Valley. Staff were friendly and helpful and made a fab breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

There wasn't much to not like! The shower could have been a bit more powerful, but it really wasn't an issue.

Perfect for our requirements at the time. Lovely room with separate shower room and separate toilet, with all shower and hair gels etc. Big TV. Great welcome by owner which was maintained throughout stay. Excellent breakfast with a large choice. Easy parking outside the property. Slope up to the house for ease of access. (House is on a hill). Short walk to town with a couple of places to choose to eat. (Town seemingly very safe). Thank you for a nice stay.
