The house was great, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and we slept really well. Martina was very friendly and accommodating of our needs.

The host is amazing and she welcomed us upon arrival. She was super good and helpful and made sure we are comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay. The house is well furnished and very comfortable.

The house was really lovely and homely, very clean and catered to all our needs. Our host Martina met us when we arrived and was just so lovely and friendly, showed us around the property and gave us information about the local area and nearest shops. Martina also gave us a text a few days into our holiday to make sure all was OK which I thought was really nice.
Honestly the only bad thing about our holiday was the weather, we have young kids and although there is a lot to see and do in Mayo, they just wanted to be outdoors, But unfortunately it rained every day!!

We were "rescued" by the wonderful host as we ended up in another town with the same name but in the next county!!! The owners are lovely and committed to ensuring you are as comfortable as possible during your stay. Once we were settled in the location turned out to be perfect for us as our connections to Ireland are In county Galway and Mayo and the property is pretty much in the centre of the two-- easy access to both.

Martina is lovely welcoming host, she went above and beyond to help us locate people who new of our ancestors ,by telephoning and receiving calls for us.
The cottage is great.
You really need a car ,as there is no shop if you run out of anything, to walk to .
There are no negatives at all

Loved the quiet location, the views are just beautiful. The accommodation was everything you needed, clean and very equipped. We loved the log burner too in the evenings

The home was beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed for a family which consisted of grandparents, parents and a 5 year old!
The hosts were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. Our Daughter loved watching the cows being taken in for their cornflakes in the morning! The huge front Garden was also a bonus.
Nothing was too much trouble, and the hosts even came to wish us farewell on leaving.
Area is ideal for exploring the West, nestled in County Mayo, you are close to Galway and Roscommon also, with easy and quick access to motorways etc.
We were so happy we have already booked our next trip here!

The cottage was fully equipped and so clean and beautiful, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature and fresh air. Martina, the owner of it was very nice and lovely offering help in anything we need.

This lovely house, is beautifully laid out with an enclosed garden, perfect for children as the gates close.
Lovely and warm, very efficient heating and hot water.
Lovely spacious bathroom.
Well equipped kitchen.
Super spacious bedrooms.
Situated on a quiet road surrounded by rolling farmland with the super Facefield loop walks. The house is close to excellent local amenities (super butcher in Balla) and bigger shops slightly further away.
The nicest hosts you could wish for, couldn’t be more helpful and friendly whilst equally non invasive.
A super home from home and one we hope to return to some time!
