The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The pao was excellent !! The hotel is very close to the shrine, The only issue we had was a mix up with the room type. We did not get the room we had booked.
A little mix up when we checked in. And we ended up not getting what we had initially reserved. But still a good place to stay in Fatima

First and foremost, this is the second time my wife and I stayed at the hotel, we came a second time for lots of reasons:
- The staff is kind, friendly, attentive, respectful, punctual, helpful, easy-going. They make you feel like home, like you are part of the family. The hotel is a family owned so it is common to see them around with their grandchildren and they are also really nice. If you have doubts on how to get around or where to go they will help you. A couple times we went to have lunch a bit late and we ate next to the them and the whole staff was there: the owners, grandchildren (not part of the staff of course) and they were eating the same thing as we were which is a good sign of the food quality.
- Food quality: we have had lunch a few times and diner there, besides the included breakfast. Food is like homemade, tastes and look like that, portions are generous. We can promise you, you will not be disappointed with the quality and portion's size if you like your food like homemade. Also if you feel like having a mid-afternoon coffee or eating something, just go to the dining room and grab something. By the way croissants are amazingly good!
- Our room was perfect, in this heat wave air conditioning was key and it worked perfectly. Room was cleaned very frequently and bed sheets and towels also changed frequently. Everything in the room worked perfectly.
We know there are other hotels in the area perhaps more luxurious and stuff but, the way the staff make you feel is priceless, even the environment in the dining room with other guests is awesome, people just get to talk like we know each other from before.
Definitely coming back (like we said last year)
Just for the sake of pointing something out I would suggest adding eggs (scrambled or omelette) or some other source of proteins to the breakfast. Perhaps add a toaster for those who want their bread toasted but I believe the staff can do that for you as they are really kind.

Very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Easy to find, well signed. Lots of parking outside and easily accessible.
I forgot something important in my room when I checked out and went back for it no problem. Was put at ease by the man in charge when I phoned to let them know, thanks again.
I was offered a free upgrade to a family room with 2 double beds through the genius programme but when I got to the room I realised we hadn't got the correct room; we got a room with 3 single beds instead and it was a little bit cramped. However, we were only staying one night so it wasn't a big deal. The room was still nice and had a big balcony as it was on the corner so it wasn't a huge deal for us.

The property was very nice! We didn’t expect the room to be like that! the other ratings we’re right it was like staying in a 3/4 star hotel, and it was really near the Sanctuary. The staff were bery friendly! we loved the price of the stay.

The hotel is very modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good, warm milk and coffee. About 10 min walk to the Sanctuary.
