Great breakfast, lovely location in the village on the valley floor and exceptionally friendly staff

Only slight criticism was the shower strength could have been better

The dinner menu provided an excellent choice. The quality of the ingredients, the cooking and presentation really good. Please continue, avoiding the trend set by the restaurants where you have to be extremely rich to avoid small meals.

Our personal preference is for twin beds, especially in hot weather.

The breakfast exceeded expectations, the room was lovely, the hotel had character in abundance, the owners were very accommodating.

There were a few minor details wrong with the cleanliness of the bath /shower (a few hairs, had to clean shower head)

The location is fantastically beautiful. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The bed was very comfortable.

It is a little shabby and in need of redecoration. An interior decorator could help to make the most of the hotel environment.

Location was far off the beaten track; beautiful, tranquil and peaceful. Room was extremely quiet and comfortable - largest and most comfortable bed we've ever slept in away from home! Breakfast was like banquet with so much choice- kippers, salmon, cereal, full english etc! Pub was oldy worldy with lovely welcoming fire with friendly helpful staff. Restaurant food looked excellent; we only ate one evening meal there as were out all day until late. Lovely place, hope to revisit one day. Thank you Jackie and team.

Nothing really but if I was being really picky car parking was a bit tricky at times as there is only room for 7 cars. Its an extremely rural location (roads are not for the faint hearted) in a tiny village, so to be expected.
