Spacious room for 3 adults. Beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean and well set-up. Staff were helpful and responsive to requests, No traffic noise. Good location, walking distance (20 - 30 mins) to Newmarket restaurants etc., though probably some are closer going the other way along Great South Road. About 30 min Uber to Auckland Airport. There was a fantastic, full buffet breakfast in the morning, which was more than what we expected. We only stayed one night before flying back to Australia early next morning, so unfortunately, we had to rush breakfast!

Nothing really, except perhaps the lighting in the main room could have been brighter.

We stay here whenever we come to Auckland. Its central to where we need to go. Always clean and tidy.

Unusual smell in the hallway down the far end, we noticed it last time also. Full breakfast is great, however it constantly ran out, most people commented on this.

Excellent room, large with kitchen if needed. Bed comfy, breakfast was great. Parking was good. Overall a great stay.

I love the cleanliness of the rooms and the modern look. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to chose from. This hotel is certainly value for money and I would highly recommend this place.

Our room was a little dark during the day but nothing a light couldn't fix. I could also hear people walking around above us as we were on the bottom floor but thankfully they weren't too noisy.

Tv was a bit large for the room and I had trouble getting it onto tv channels. I called for help and the staff member put it onto sky but I couldn't get it off from there.

Staff are friendly. The continental breakfast included was fresh and sufficient. Parking being avaialable was appreciated.

There were no kitchen utensils apart from.cutlery which made cooking a little difficult!

Breakfast was very disappointing. Arrive in the dining room and all you could see was a coffee machine, breakfast should have setup with fresh fruit, cereal bread for toasting. Instead we were give a menu! I chose the continental breakfast which was served on plate that was it no toast had to ask for toast and a toaster. You need to step up and do things a lot better. Carpet In Our room needed cleaning or better still replacing! One positive the beds were clean and comfortable.

The standard of cleaning was not good!

It was surprisingly quiet, bed was comfortable and the very dated shower had good pressure and there was plenty of hot water. We found the provide breakfast quite palatable despite the overload of pastry.

Most of the outside is covered with scaffolding. I believe it has been like that for a few years you can see green mould on the outside but that doesn’t show in the exterior photos on the site. I was told it was about fixing a balcony but I suspect the truth is that it is a leaky building. Very tired interior and dated bathroom. Charging $15 a night for parking is a total rip off for motel accommodation. They consider themselves a 4 star hotel 😳😳😂Long time since that was reviewed. The whole place has an uninviting feel not helped by these long ongoing repairs.

Charging for on site parking. Shower was too small for a normal sized person. Coffee and soap not replenished when used. Scaffolding has been up for more than three years makes access difficult. Charging $100 good behaviour bond.

Ended up staying for second night and rate was way higher than the first night, when questioned was told due to demand, yet I could still have booked another room through booking.com for the original rate, then had top pay for a parking space as well as an extra. Will not use them again.

We didn’t get any free wifi, not even a mention when we checked in. They should have told us they were in process of renovations when we booked. The car park area was so tight and restricted which we paid for, if you didn’t pay for one you would have to park miles down the road as there were road worker cones everywhere. The room itself only two tea cups not three, there were spider webs in most corners of the room and the mould in bathroom it was yuk. There was someone else’s hair all over the back of bathroom door. The bathroom didn’t look or feel clean at all. I have stayed here a lot and this trip showed me how run down and unclean the place is.
