The bungalows are isolated and I was the only guest so felt uncomfortable. The restaraunt mentioned is a walk up the hill, and there was no one around. Perhaps it would be good for a group of people to book all three bungalows, or someone who doesn't mind being isolated. I felt a little unsafe being so far away from people. The woman who helped me was nice though and helped me cancel the rest of my booking with no problem.

the house was very cute in a traditional Balinese style. Big bed, air conditioner, nice terrace with a view of the pool. Very quiet place which I especially liked, there are many beautiful flowering trees in the yard. The staff was just wonderful and sweet. The breakfasts were beautiful and delicious with a large choice. I enjoyed every moment of my stay in this place and will definitely come back again✨🙏

The owner is a really nice woman and I wish her and her business well, but she either needs to be transparent about the bungalows she's renting out or fix the place up. The breakfast she serves is generous and the view from the restaurant (two minute walk from the bungalows) is good.

The place isn't awful, it just really does not look like the photos at all. The photos were obviously taken many, many years ago. Expect a run down version with a dirty pool that cannot be used. The bungalow is not really clean, the drains were clogged when we were there and the shower's only warm for about 20 seconds. There's a reason you can't find Horizon Bungalows on Google...!

Pool was unusable in my opinion, manager thought differently (you couldn't see the bottom of the pool, as the water was very cloudy!) Mosquitos paradise, one night we killed of about 30, even though we had everything closed. Mosquito net in our first room had many holes and was poorly designed, therefore open at the end. The pictures of this stay are very, very misleading! They have 3(?) different stays. The breakfast area with the scenic view (roof top) they use for clickbait in the pictures from the hotel itself is at a different location! The view from our terrase came with a hint of sea view.... Garden area was djungle.

We had a great stay here! The room is really nice, lovely porch, feels really private and remote. Big bathroom with hot rainfall shower. Comfortable bed and room with aircon. Close to the beach and sea. Fantastic breakfast! Lovely fresh fruit and hearty meals. The staff were really accomidating and even made us an early breakfast when we had to leave early for diving. Would highly recommend!

The shower was only hot for a little while, which meant one of us would have a colder shower. It is a little bit out of the main hub of Amed but there are some restaurants around!
