The breakfast was. It good. They had smal pieces of cheese and not very much to choose from. The first room we got was horrible. Not fresh and a lot of mold everywhere. Not a good room at all. But the staff was friendly and moved us to another room that was much better.

Our room location near pool and ac included in room rate. Our bed was comfortable and our room was spacious. Price was good.

Night reception staff absent when we arrived to check in so after a very long journey to reach the hotel, we had to wait an additional hour to locate the receptionist who had gone somewhere to sleep! We had advised of our early morning check in as we flew with RAM. Eventually the security staff located our booking and let us go to our room without checking in properly or paying and the room had no towels or toilet rolls when we got in there and this seemed to be a problem most days as the cleaners had to wash and dry the towels each morning so all day we had no towels if we needed them. This same night receptionist was very rude and arrogant and needs customer service training as whenever a problem was reported to him that he couldn't resolve sufficiently, he would become aggressive and shout which is totally unacceptable! A female member of staff from the restaurant shouted across the pool area to my husband one day that he had taken a bottle of water from the restaurant and not paid for it! We said sorry sister you must have mistaken me for someone else but she was adamant that it was my husband so she marched us into the restaurant to speak to Alieu (the manager) as he knows my husband and Alieu immediately confirmed it was not my husband who had taken the water but another guest from Room 18 not us from Room 8 and that he was a rasta so definitely not us and the lady just said oh OK she didn't even apologise to my husband for humiliating him accusing him of stealing a bottle of water!! Out rental car was hit when we were parked outside the hotel as the car park was always full but we were assured by security that our car would be safe parked outside but this was not true. Every day we had a problem with our room not being ready when we returned from the beach or an outing always after 5pm! No or not enough towels, only allowed 2 towels so I had no small towels for my hair or hands. Having to request a floor mat every day!

There is nothing I didn't like. One thing though we could do with fridges in the room. Waking up to room temp water was not the one. Otherwise not a single complaint... 😊

Customer Service is excellent from bar area housekeeping maintenance laundry and salon. Everyone is wonderful and helpful. Laundry service washed and ironed all my clothes at a great price. Stylist at salon is very talented. Atmosphere is beautiful. Pool area always clean Room very clean.

Bed is a pit hard for my liking but receptionist gave me extra blankets and pillows to help with my comfort.

Where should I start? I wanted to support a locally owned business and as such searched for one. Photos, '4 stars', tried to see the good in some of the reviews, but after the initial greeting of a few big rats in the courtyard, me shutting the reception door swiftly. a leaking room, defective a/c in room 2, I was concerned. However, I was offered a much better room, all on the first floor. The other room, a little better. This was a good start; the night staff resolved the issues swiftly. Dirty blood stained sheet, gecko in the bedroom one night, above the bed prompting me to bolt out of there at 2.00am, colony of ants by the door every evening, leaks requiring change of bedrooms, non working AC, tattered poolside furniture, that have seen better days! Occupation of the shelter by the poolside area, by a daily course delivered for external students, daily work on the roof from 7.00am and before, daily blackouts, sometimes for hours with no backup generator for electricity, often no water in the second bedroom were all issues I was willing to overlook. My daughter purchased additional data so she could work, but that was usually cut short when the electricity went off, combined with an unsuspecting leak from the ceiling on to her laptop. Additionally, I woke to screams one morning and witnessed a brutal attack / beating of a young man on the adjoining land to the hotel at 5.15 am, lasting about 50mins, resulting with his limbs being tied up and liquid poured on him, but the staff did not seem as concerned as I was. The humdinger! Following the above, we moved on after a week. We found somewhere better and more conducive to our basic needs. My daughter posted on her page, a very short comment, no photos, and a lot more restrained than some of the other reviews. A staff member, ' highly trained and experienced in customer relations ' called my personal phone, left a 5.30 mins rant about my daughter. Karen!
