Great location

Pedro was the consummate and professional host. He was available to meet and greet us. He responded promptly to our requests. He made us feel welcome and we felt a warm and homely atmosphere during our stay. The apartment has to be one of the best locations in Funchal with its wrap around balcony, extensive views of Funchal, the Sea, mountains and city landscape...from the spectacular dawn each morning to the beautiful evening sunsets.

The best location, luxurious view from the terrace. Comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and of high quality. Extremely hospitable host. Thank you, we will be back)

The location was superb - walking distance to all of the sights in Funchal and to the Lidos. It was lovely to have a view of both the sea and the mountains.

The only issue was that the bed was really hard and our sleep suffered as a result.

We loved everything about this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations - size, furnishings, views, comforts, beds, baths - just fantastic and can't wait to go back. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

all round great location, apartment and views

The round-the-corner balconies have great views of the city and the marina. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a good sized kitchen and a very comfortable lounge/dining room. Classy and clean entrance area was always a welcoming space after being out and about. The location is perfect for walking around Funchal and with bus stops outside the door, and with the Giro card, getting around by bus was convenient. We were there for 4 weeks and enjoyed every day. A very comfortable apartment.

The apartment is big and well maintained. The cleaners came on a saturday at a prearranged time agreed with us. The owner was very helpful and easy to talk to. There were plenty of pots etc and everything worked. The balconies wrapped around the whole apartment. The beds and seating were very comfortable. You could eat seated either in the kitchen or the lounge area. We will definitely book again should we visit maderia.

There wasn't anything we disliked

The locaction was perfect and because we have stayed there before we were delighted to be back

Not the properties fault but we couldn’t get out of the gates on night and couldn’t get in another night - out key fobs didn’t work.
