we didn’t see the host - but that was a plus for us. makes it even more private. they are right next door if you need them anyway.

it was just like home. we stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. sitting on the verandah overlooking the river was magical. the accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything we needed plus the bed was so comfortable.

Fabulous and generous breakfast. Unexpected, gorgeous and peaceful river view - I actually saw a platypus! Lots of thoughtful details beyond the usual, like bath robes and a choice of teas and proper coffee. Lots of modern comfort with all your needs thoughtfully anticipated. The hosts were kind and attentive and it was great getting a pickup to the excellent Woolnorth Tours. Don’t hesitate to book this spot if they have availability - it’s the best accommodation I experienced during my entire visit to the NW corner of Tassie.

Location was ideal for me. Being a fuss-pot, I made my own breakfast! Facilities very good, clean. But a bread knife would be useful!

Shower not having a door although it didn't make as much of a mess as I first imagined

The studio is modern, well-equipped, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The little special touches that were provided, such as robes, fresh berries with the breakfast provisions, real coffee, and the heating being on to welcome me, were all greatly appreciated.

There was nothing to dislike. The house is on a roadside, with some garden between the studio and the road, but you can hear occasional vehicles. However, the sound of the river at the bottom of the garden on the other side is a lovely counterpoint to that.
