The hospitality was excellent- very helpful, respectful and courteous.

Helen gave us a really warm welcome. High tea on arrival excellent fruit cake and apple tart. The room was very comfortable with ensuite shower. Fabulous views and quiet location for restful stay.

Nothing to dislike as this offers exceptional comfort at a very reasonable price.

Damp cold desolate and that’s just the inside the place the room was so cold the condensation ran down the walls leaving clothes and the bed damp. en-suite not fit for purpose, door didn’t close and again freezing cold.

didn't have a cooked breakfast but was offered on the first-morning access to the dining area, with a microwave, bread, kettle, and television which we could access whenever we wanted, it was clean and tidy. Helen was very helpful when i needed it. Wasnt intrusive

There wasn't anything i did not like, there was no television in the room but we did have access to a television

The hostess was very accommodating to all my requirements. Check in times were easily arranged. Free, on-site parking. The view from the room was absolutely gorgeous. The hostess met me at the door and had a lovely free slice of apple pie and a cup of tea ready! It was an wonderfully friendly touch.

I could not complain about a single moment, it was absolutely fabulous all round. The location was very quiet and peaceful. I had skipped meals all day and wanted a nice dinner. The hostess suggested a pub a few minutes away and she was spot on. The atmosphere there was friendly and welcoming. The food was hot, tasty and very affordable. I went back to the markets in the town the next day and met some lovely friendly locals selling their goods.

The B&B in Silvermines was a great stay. Helen was a fantastic host who has been in the business for years. The bedroom and ensuite was welcoming, comfortable and clean. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay!

The welcome. Tea and homemade rhubarb pie on arrival. Super-comfortable bed. Quiet room. Great breakfast. Friendly host.
