Comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast. The lady who explained breakfast was very nice.

Lots of rules posted around the property and being told there was no smoking OR vaping allowed felt a little like an accusation. We do neither. Parking was difficult to find. I arrived early and needed to use the toilet. I was told ‘this is not a hotel’ and there are no public toilets. I thought guesthouses went the extra mile. Luckily our room happened to be ready. Not enough instant coffee provided in the rooms. Take away coffee advertised at €4 seemed a little pricey.

Peter and his staff were so welcoming and warm. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable. The location was right in the heart of Kinsale and a 2 min walk to everything. We loved Long Quay House!

Brilliant central location; views over the quay from room (try to get room 7, it was gorgeous); light, airy and spacious rooms; great breakfast.

Parking is a bit tricky. There is a long term free carpark near the Supavalu supermarket. A bit expensive in AUD!

There was no parking for guests. One of the staff was kind enough to point out an area where I could park and not be ticketed. The Perryville hotel, directly next door has a reserved parking area for guests right across the road, nothing available for Long Quay house guests.

Breakfast was good and the location was great including the nice view of the harbour. Staff were very friendly although a little too chatty on arrival when we were tired and keen to get up to our room. Comfy bed and nice bathroom.

Hard lugging two big suitcases up two flight of stairs to our room. Wish we were given two keys so we could access the room separately instead always together.

I absolutely loved staying at Long Quay House. Rasa & Peter and their, son, Karolis, are a delightful family, so kind and thoughtful, absolutely wonderful hosts. Everything exceeded my expectations. They helped me carry my bags, took great care of me during my stay in early July (3 nights). My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer. Rasa is a wonderful chef and the housekeeper (Yolita) is lovely as well. The shower is incredible; good water pressure and it has a nice little shelf for toiletries (rare!) The location is perfect for exploring Kinsale on foot or the area by car. They suggested a good parking spot (free parking) and I was able to drive to a beautiful beach in Garretstown, 17 min away. A highlight of my stay was dinner at FishyFishy, which is just a few minutes walk from Long Quay House. Peter is very knowledgeable of the area, too, and had lots of good suggestions. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We only stayed one night at Long Quay House but would happily have stayed longer. It’s in a perfect location for exploring Kinsale. There is a large car park just opposite which is free from 6.30pm to 10.30am. The accommodation is absolutely spotless and our room was spacious and comfortable with a seating area. The bathroom has a brilliant shower and the toiletries are really nice. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of hot and cold options.

The only suggestions we could make would be bigger cups or mugs in the room and perhaps a bigger shelf in the bathroom for a wash bag but this really is splitting hairs!

Superb location right on the Quay in Kinsale, and within 100 metres of several pubs and restaurants. Great breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff. Peter and his team were all really lovely.

Very nice B&B in town. Shops, restaurants and pubs all walkable. Would definitely stay again if back in Kinsale.
