The location was fantastic! We enjoyed our stay and all the amenities the home had to offer. A great and easy access to the beach. Royal Destinations communicated quickly and make the check in/out process easy. A few deferred maintenance items you notice once arriving, photos do not reflect them. The primary suite upstair's mini split system did not seem to cool well. Overall, we had a great experience and would/will rent with Royal Destinations again!

This was our third time using Royal Destinations for our Florida trips and we have already booked with them again for next year. I highly recommended their service and the homes they help rent out. This house was a great layout with all the right things to make a wonderful last minute vacation to the beach. The management staff was easy to work with and provided a great stay! The house is so close to beach access and almost couldn't be any closer. It's very near Seaside and all kind of places to eat and shop within a short walk or bike ride. I would definitely look for this house again and use Royal Destinations.

We had a great time. To help future guests : the Wi-Fi password has to be capitalized, the coffee filters need to be the triangle type not flat bottomed, the batteries in the back bedroom remote need to be changed, someone should clean up the yard before guests arrive-we had to pick up dog poop when we first arrived. Response was good when we emailed with a problem but not good when we called. Also, the front porch was very sandy and dirty. Couldn’t find a broom to clean it off.

We arrived to trash in the yard, the house was filthy!! The trash can, cook top, dishwasher door..ALL were broke…the overhead fans were coated in dusted, the showers had noticeable mold. Their were bugs in the refrigerator…The slipcovers on the furniture were very dirty! The pool is SMALL…not even a pool. The garden hose just ran in the pool with cold water! Wash machine had mold inside. We had to leave after 2 days and even though Royal Destination’s agreed with everything we showed them they have refused to return our money. We lost 2 days of our vacation and had to rent another house.

Overall great. We were there to share the thanksgiving holiday with our family and some friends staying near by. The location was great and the house was just right for our dog because of the front and back fencing. Couple things to note is the lack of closets in the downstair bedrooms. The house feels a little worn and could use a refresh. It needs a deep clean. The master bedroom was very nice but the shower head didn’t work properly and should be replaced with a regular shower head instead of a hand held. We loved the ease of the house and the location to the beach and seaside was fantastic.

If you are looking at this property book it fast! Beautiful fenced in yard, awesome screened porch, just a few steps away form the beach. Conveniently located a few blocks away from the heart of seaside. Don’t be fooled by the square footage, as this home’s layout may the space feels larger and very comfortable. We definitely will be back!

The White House is a charming home in a near perfect location. When we arrived the first thing we noticed is that the screened in porch is in need of paint. In addition, the pool area needs a good pressure wash. So much for the negatives, on the positive side the interior is bright and airy. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. Location is perfect. Walking distance to Seagrove Market and Seaside. The fenced in front and back yards were a great plus for our two dogs. The management team was very responsive to a couple of small issues we had.

Great property, however....
The home itself is lovely, plenty of room and great beach vibe, however it is obvious that the home is a rental. The furniture was extremely stained and dirty, namely the porch furniture. We never sat on the porch because it was so dirty. The pool was too small to swim in and had a cloudy green tint. We called management about the porch furniture when we arrived and they told us that they would send someone over to look at it, however no one ever came. Very disappointing for a $10k/week rental. The location, even though it is close to the beach, is not ideal during peak vacation season due to the constant loud traffic on 30A.

Mardi Gras getaway
House and property managers were great. Only complaint was the outdoor fireplace didn’t work and honestly that was one of the major reasons I chose the house. We love to sit outside and read and talk and because it was February what could be more perfect than an outdoor fireplace. 2 days before our departure a fire pit was delivered and we were told we could use it but no one had fire wood in stock.

Absolute perfect location
Really lovely house - there were a few maintenance issues (WiFi, fireplace not working, flooding in yard due to pump not working) but the management company was super responsive and very helpful. House is well equipped- kitchen has everything you might need. Lack of closets a bit of an issue (only closet is in master bedroom). The back yard could use some power washing and the couches and blankets have seen better days (a bit stained). Overall our stay was amazing and the house is in the absolute perfect location. You can walk everywhere.

Perfect getaway
We spent the four nights on this beautiful property. Although it is an older property, the owner’s renovated and updated the house tastefully well. It’s within walking distance of the town of Seaside where there are shops and restaurants. As far as location, this is optimal. It’s located on the busy main road leading in to town, but road noise was not an issue. The room with the double bed was small but we expected it to be as the pictures clearly showed it. My only criticism is that the porch could use a coat of paint, but other than that, the house was perfect for us.

My family & I totally enjoyed our stay at the White House. It was very comfortable & accommodating for our family of ten. We thoroughly made good use of the front porch playing games & loved having the fireplace on. The location was so close to the beach & made the trek there so much easier with a toddler & baby. We will definitely love staying here again. The only complaint was the daybed sheets had not been changed & there was sand on it. The staff came & took care of that after we informed them.

The stay at the house was great!
It was actually our second time staying at this particular house and the location is great. The only complaint I have is the beach chair service. I will never rent from royal destination concierge again. The chairs were grossly over rented for the amount of beach space available. We were smothered by surrounding chairs most days. We were also set up on the rear row 5 out of 6 days. I emailed concierge inquiring about this and she told me they rotate so everyone gets front row turns. However the same people were in front of us every remaining day. I emailed again about it and was never responded to. Next time I will use 30-A beach service because their teal chairs were setup before ours every single day and not one of their customers were ever in the back row.

We enjoyed the soothing decor and comfortable furniture and beds. The laundry room was a great plus. Although I am a seasoned VRBO traveler, the photos were somewhat misleading. Furniture and arrangement changed (no big deal) but the rooms looked significantly more spacious than they actually are. Great photography! The pool for example, is barely larger than a jacuzzi. Despite the dirty condition we found the house, we enjoyed it and would rent again. The location is ideal if you like quick access to beach and enjoy busy 30a outside your door. The management company was wonderful and very responsive. They did have the house re-cleaned after we mentioned the condition. The beach is spectacular, and the umbrella and chair set up (included) were a highlight. The bikes were also plentiful and in great shape. Overall, a fabulous stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Fist year vacationing with a dog, and The White House was perfect as far as pet needs. Our cockapoo loved the fenced yard and screened porch. Proximity to Seaside and beach access was also very convenient. Hickory Street beach access directly across the street from the house. The house was adequately stocked with everything needed, and the decor, while slightly worn, was nice and comfortable. The master bedroom with ensuite bath, and upper deck provided nice views, but steep stairs may need to be considered. Nice closet storage in master bedroom only. Other bedrooms had drawer storage only. Our only complaint with the house was the backyard. It definitely needed some TLC. I think we would have used the area if it were as immaculate as the front yard. Overall, I would recommend this house, and we will most likely be booking again in the future due to lack of nice, pet-friendly homes in Seaside.

We really loved the location of this house and the view from the second floor bedroom was great! However, the house needs some TLC!!! The furniture is extremely worn and the cushions, throw pillows and bedding are very stained. This makes it very hard to feel comfortable and want to even sit down on the couches. The bathrooms have mold in the grout and the tile floors are stained and the walls could you use fresh paint. I felt like I had to clean the house before we even could get situated. The outdoor screened porch needs fresh paint and new furniture. There were ashes and burn marks on the table. It was like no one even cleaned the place to get it ready for new renters. Once again, the furniture is in very poor condition. The backyard with a very small pool needs TLC too. It looks like no one is trying to even keep up with the landscape and clean the pool. There were leaves every where on the pool deck and in the pool and everything just looked dirty. We didn't even want to use the area because it was so uninviting and dirty. The pictures they have on their website must have been from day one after their renovation. It is very staged. Makes me sad! I would like to be able to recommend this house to friends and I would like to be able to stay again someday because of the location but the house really needs some work. If the rental company and owners could see to cleaning the place up then it would be perfect and it would be a fantastic place to stay.

Overall we had a great experience in The White House. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. The porches and outside seating areas were wonderful. The upstairs master suite was also fabulous. We traveled with my retired parents and my brother and his wife. We didn't have kids with us. I would say that this is better configured for families traveling with children. The bedroom setup was great for the couple staying the master but not as comfortable for the other couples. I would still stay there again, especially if kids joined. One other comment is that the beach access is right across the street which was fabulous. The rental came with beach service for two chairs and an umbrella. One word of caution that the beach service vendors are restricted to a very small area of the public beach access and the beach chairs were six or seven rows deep from the beach. We ended up switching beach service companies to get closer to the beach. One last challenge is that in the age of automated lock access for most rental units, it actually was kind of painful to pick up and drop off keys at the rental office. Given the price, I think it would be awesome if Royal Destinations put a lock box onsite so it's easier to get in and out, especially since driving on 30A is super stressful after an 8 hour drive. Not a dealbreaker, but there's definitely room to add value there.
