Excellent villa with private pool, beach access and located in not so crowded area. Great service and attention from the staff. One day wi-fi was not working due to some technical failure and Davina personally spent time to make sure that technician fixed the issues. We went for fishing and caught some fish. Sapna did the cooking and curry was outstanding. Overall very clean, nice and well equipped property. Pool was a really nice bonus. Recommended for a romantic holiday.

Just to set the expectations right. First of all - you need a car. There is nothing around in a walking distance. We rented a car from the person recommended by villa owners. Car condition was good, Collection and return with no hassle, except some misunderstanding with payment which was sorted out amicably. Make sure to get a receipt for your payment. Second - there is a direct access to the beach, but the ocean is not swimmable at this place. You can plunge in during the high tide and observe a number of different strange creatures during the low tide. Need a car to go to other beaches for swimming in the ocean, but you will need a car and will be exploring the island anyway. In general all these are not the problems, just the peculiarities that need to be noted.

Davina was the best part about this property. She was always kind and did her best to make the changes that I requested regarding the bed (to add a comforter) and the curtains (which were transparent).

There was a lot of noise. On the first night there was a party with loud screaming karaoke that lasted until 1am. On the third night a loud alarm went off at 2:30am. My mattress was very hard. The bedroom ceiling leaked. The pool was too deep for kids, it was not mentioned in the ad. There’s a dangerous shelf in the living room that hurt my 5 year old son on the cheek. The pots and pans were not in good shape. There was only 1 single bin liner offered for a 5 day stay. No dishwashing liquid. No teabags. This place was not comfortable at all. I left after 3 days even though I had already paid for a 5 day stay.

Wow what a gorgeous cabin tucked away at the bottom of the main villa garden. Views out to the ocean and direct access to the beach, lovely little pool, hammock, BBQ - everything you need for a quiet break away from it all. Surinam is small, but has all the basics available. Restaurants/cafes however are in very short supply, so we ate in most nights. The cabin was cleaned every day by a gorgeous team of people and we felt very well looked after. Excellent wifi and very well equipped for a super stay.

We both found the beds super hard, but as soon as we mentioned it a solution was found. There's also no hot water from the kitchen or bathroom taps - only in the shower - making it tricky to wash up and not great to keep hands clean etc.

Spacious, great location in a quiet area of South Mauritius, well maintained, equipped with everything you need. Friendly owners and dogs, we loved it :)

Not much to fault. It may not be the greatest location if you are looking to swim every day in the ocean but we were aware of that. It was ideal with a toddler!

The location is excellent. The house is simple but usefull. It is very quiet. No hot water in the kitchen nor a dishwasser, but the price/quality is good.
