Room size is huge with bedroom, living room, and bathroom. The big deck facing ocean with nice views. Breakfast is great with a lot of food choices.

Restaurant food is average

I had a great room with a view out to the sea. lots of wardrobe and drawer space and spotlessly clean room. A twenty minute easy walk into town and the beach. The hotel restaurant is also excellent and very good value.

Very nice hotel, the room and bathroom was a good size. The breakfast was good with lots of choice.

The bathroom has an opaque window, so when you have to use the bathroom in the night the light illuminate's bedroom.

Location was great and easy to get to and close to everything we needed to go to.

The aircons were not working and so the rooms got very hot and stuffy in the evening making it hard to sleep. The door stopped working with the key card and we had to use the only spare key available which complicated the situation where the room was not able to be cleaned.

The breakfast was awful for a 4 star hotel. Water was cold to take a shower in the morning and in the afternoon they just said Sorry. That was all!

Modern and clean with a good pool & friendly staff. Close to large supermarket & a short 10 min walk to beach, 20 min walk to centre, beach cafes & surf classes. Quiet location.

The room is large, very clean and has nice newer furniture; nice automated blinds; staff is helpful and professional. Nice pool area and great food at restaurant. I liked that they provided tongues for breakfast for each guest to avoid same tongue being touched by tens of hands. Great idea! The restaurant food and the only waiter we've had were great. Prices are decent; I wish they would not charge so much for bread and olives- considering they are cheap to get. Very close by, walking distance, there is a grocery store where you can get essentials and food. They also have a coin laundromat, which can come in handy. The garage under the hotel was great, well lit and secure; also free. Overall, the hotel and staff was nice. I would recommend it for somebody who is looking for a quiet, comfortable place to spend time.

For a "beach" hotel, you would expect to provide something to be able to dry swimsuits or towels on the balcony. A retractable string would have been of great help. Some wall decor and less plastic flowers would make the place more artsy. The breakfast was a little of a disappointment. Very few options, most of the time there was no omelette or bacon, no water, no cups. They seemed clearly understaffed in the breakfast area- only two people who were cooking, bringing out trays, cleaning. They looked stressed and overworked. Towels for the pool were provided, but they mentioned to hold on them for the entire stay. The pool water is cold, but that seems like a Portuguese thing- all pools we've tried in Portugal were not heated and cold. The beach was on red flag the entire 4 days we were there; they did not allow people to go in the ocean. To be honest, the high waves and cold water would have kept me away from getting in anyway. The area around the hotel is ok, more of a residential area. The walk to the closest beach is not at all scenic. Not close either. Not much to do in the area in the evening- a car seems to be a must to travel to other more entertaining areas.

Location not is the same así informatio in web page. Is far more distant to the sea than the 700 m promised. They charge plus for sea wiew and you only see a far far blue line in the distance.

Everything was as good as you would expect from a four star hotel. Clean, comfortable, nice staff, good choice for breakfast.

Maybe a little bit overpriced, but I was booking last minute.

The location was great and the room sizes and facilities are great. The breakfast was great and the the pool was a great area to swim and relax. The staff was great and went over and beyond to ensure our safety and satisfaction. Easy place to get to, close to the center of Espinho but without the noise, hustle and bustle of the center

The biggest challenge was that there were other guests staying there who were very noisy, loud and disruptive. Made it difficult to sleep as they were up till early hours of the morning making noise. Also alot of noise from the traffic driving past the hotel, but we understand that some of these instances are not under control of the hotel
