The location wasn’t great nothing much around and area a bit run down. If you want an evening meal there really isn’t anything around. The local place I was told served until 8pm but at 7:30 I was told they had a long day and wouldn’t serve me.

This property was an easy walk from the train station. The friendly hosts were there to greet us and answer our questions. The rooms were lovely and spacious with nice light from the garden. Breakfast was excellent. All in all a very good value.

Dip in the bed made it hard to find our usual sleeping position.

Beautiful and well presented rooms in a clean and brilliantly run guest house. Kelly who runs Abbey Court was incredibly welcoming and made my wife feel at home immediately as she was travelling alone. She felt like she was staying with a friend, rather than a guest house but the standard of both the room and food were excellent. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and walking distance to city centre and train station. Nice and quiet and home from home. Highly recommend if in Carlisle.

It was just a few minutes away from the train station. The breakfast was very good.

The property is so quaint and adorable and the staff are lovely! They also let me leave my bag so I could go for a walk on the day I checked out.

The room was quite compact (not a complaint) but just something to note if you’re bring a lot of bags.

The property was very modern, bed was very comfortable, and in a good location not far from the town centre. Breakfast was included which wasn’t made clear before but a very pleasant surprise!

I was in a single room in the roof, which had a low beam running across the middle of the whole room and a slanted ceiling which meant there wasn’t a lot of space. It was also quite easy to hit your head.

Very pleasant and tastefully decorated small apartment Great breakfast and very helpful host and staff.

The Appartement Room was at ground floor level on the street side of the house, but the triple glass made it a still a very quiet room. But with open windows (because we it was quite warm) for some fresh air, the road was quite noisy.

The location in Carlisle isn’t great but is very accessible and central.

The breakfast was as requested and Gluten Free, staff helpful and understanding. Good starting point for a ride out.

Great location to bars and restaurants. The rooms were well decorated and lovely and clean the beds were cosy. I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and it was child friendly. Couldn't have asked for more tbh, definitely a gem of a place we will definitely come back.and explore Carilse abit more staying here of course!!

The staff were friendly and the breakfasts are great, very generous portions that set you up for the day. The location is great as it's just a short walk to the station and town, and it's just around the corner from a large Asda so you can pick up supplies. My room was a single, so it was small but worked well for one person. Bathroom was good with a decent sized shower. Due to the size there's limited space to unpack but that's not really a big deal. There was also a mini fridge, which I've never had in a hotel before and that was very useful. Telly, hairdryer, good amount of plugs including one right by the bed - all in all, a really nice room. I would highly recommend Abbey Court.

Gorgeous spacious and beautifully furnished bedroom and bathroom- luxurious feel to both. The owners have a real eye for detail and good quality furnishings. Location is perfect and staff very friendly Excellent breakfast service!
