Quaint old house on edge of old city with a couple of restaurants in easy reach. Very homely and thoughtfully decorated. Owner was very helpful in finding us a free parking spot.

Nature of the building meant steep stone steps up to bathroom and kitchen which some guests would find awkward. Tricky to find initially.

The location is fabulous, 3 minute walk from the main streets/piazzas of Martina Franca. As with most apartments in the historical center, if you want somewhere with access to sunlight you have to have STAIRS, and Casa Dolce Casa is no exception. There are quite a few just inside the entryway and then the apartment itself is on two levels, but every stairway has a wonderfully strong/secure cast-iron hand rail to grab on to, so we felt completely safe. On the upper level is a sweet little terrace just off the kitchen, and although we didn't use it this trip because the weather was fairly cool, it would be a beautiful place to sit in the summer evenings with a glass of wine! Giovanna was amazing, met us upon our arrival and showed us where everything was stored, made sure we didn't have any questions. During our stay she checked in by messages just to make sure everything was ok and in case we had questions or requests. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Giovanna!

As I was working, we did do some minimal cooking in the apartment. The gas stovetop was excellent, but perhaps there could have been some lids for the skillets, maybe a few utensils more appropriate for non-stick pans. This said, the restaurants in Martina Franca are excellent, so most people will probably be eating out.

Very good location in the middle of historical town centre. Small but very nice, cosy and tidy apartment. Friendly and very helpful landlord.

Typical historic center house with different floors, very cosy, clean, comfortable, the hosts were amazing, great value for money!

It's the cutest little apartment. Clean, well decorated, it's located in a quiet neighborhood, yet you're just in the right spot to walk around the gorgeous historical center of Martina Franca.

We were there in the hottest season, so I would have loved one more fan in the room, if not a little AC unit.

I would highly recommend this beautiful quaint apartment, 3 of us stayed here and was plenty of room. Giovanna is an amazing host, nothing was any trouble to her, she is patient and very helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and gorgeous inside. The location is perfect it’s close to the bars, Resturante’s and amenities. The whole of Martini Franca is a beautiful town and historic, it is so easy to get to the other locations also - Ostuni, Alberabella, etc!

In the midle of the beautiful old city. Good beds. Nice small decorations everywhere.

Tucked away in a little corner of the old town in a renovated village house. It's small but perfect and great value for a couple. It was lovely to have the little terrace with the table and chairs for an outside breakfast. We set out on foot to find it and even though we were there mid-morning and the owner was still preparing it, she let us have the key so that we could enter with no fuss later on. We found on-street parking just outside the old town. Martina Franca itself is a lovely, untouristy destination with several restaurants to choose from and a quaint old town to wander and a big square ringed with sunny bars.

Nothing negative, but just to mention that in common with all of the old town houses, the interior stairs are steep and in places uneven. The bedroom is on the ground floor: the shower room and kitchen and terrace on the first floor - this is not a negative comment but just information for those who might find this a problem. Locating anywhere in the old town is tricky: follow Google maps and then when it says you are there, carry on under a little archway and go immediately right: the property is on the left on the end with a double door grille.

The apartment is well located in the historic center of town. Giovanna was extremely nice and met us at the square to show the way. The apartment is very clean and well organized, with lots of attention to detail. The bed is very comfortable and there are warm blankets for cold weather.

The apartment is on two floors, and the stairs may be difficult to climb for people with mobility problems.
