I loved Casa Adele. If you don’t know Martina Franca then you’re in for a treat - it’s a beautiful and gracious town full of inviting public spaces and wonderful buildings. It’s enchanting and draws you in to its winding lanes, and Casa Adele you will find a very short walk from the cathedral in the main square. It couldn’t really be any better. You are first greeted by the huge portone entrance which leads into a beautiful courtyard, from which the external staircase leads to the piano nobile (the owner's residence), and there is an elegant gate (topped with a noble Casa Adele is quite simply fabulous. It’s everything I want my Italian dream to be - courtyards and flowers, elegant interiors, stone vaulted ceilings and history seeping from the walls. The rooms themselves are accessed by an entrance on the opposite side of the courtyard. The ground floor room is large and comfortable with a lovely picture window looking out over the courtyard. This room also has a little table for breakfast that looks on to the courtyard and also a private terrace to the other side that looks across the gardens. The first floor room is accessed via an internal staircase and is similarly lovely. It also has a roof terrace accessed via another staircase. Of note, the staircase to the first floor is steep and the steps are deep - so anyone with walking difficulties would be wise to take the ground floor room. Casa Adele’s secret garden is so tranquil and peaceful. Don’t underestimate what a privilege a garden is in a compact historic centre, and when you sit on your terrace overlooking the garden you will really feel like you’ve found a secret garden - it’s remarkable and unique. The rooms are elegantly simple, with clean lines and nice linens. The owner, Giuseppe and the gentleman that manages the bookings were all very kind and helpful. I don’t really want to tell people how much I liked Casa Adele because I want to keep the secret all to myself. But that wouldn’t

Shower head needs a new fixing as the head wouldn't stay in position. It's nice to have a TV in the room but this one is very small and it would be better if it were larger. Both tiny details that didn't detract from how much we enjoyed it.

Amazing place to discover Taranto from. Perfect location if you are a fan of city life, wonderful intimate garden to chill in the evenings, modern room in a beautiful old house! The terrace on the roof is a bonus!

The breakfast provided at the nearby bistro offers mostly sweet options. The water heater in the room above is a little noisy

We stayed in the first floor room with the internal staircase.If you have a large heavy suitcase this might be an issue

I loved the old stone, the ceiling, etc and the decor. Beautiful!

Nothing... except the liquour, just not to my taste. The steep steps up to the upstairs bedroom were difficult for an older person with the a suitcase. Maybe mention this on the website. There could be more choice for the breakfast.

My stay in Casa Adele was a wonderful experience. Both because the premises were comfortable and of high standard but also beautifully located in a 17th century elegant residence in the historic center of Martina Franca. But on top of that a very helpful and attentive staff made my stay most enjoyable.

Really friendly hosts, amazing room and perfect location within the city centre.

There is a fridge included in the room which comes in handy but it makes a bit of noise overnight.

The property was really nice and the location was absolutely great - but the best thing about the place was Nina the local cat that really made our stay so much better.

The room was nice, clean and quiet. The room it is located on the beautiful city centre of Martina Franca. We will come back again! Recommended!

The steps to the first floor are very steep, we had some difficulty to bring upstair the luggage. The property it’s an old dimora so I guess they couldn’t do anything to modify the steps.

Everything was excellent! Very cozy, very clean, close to the main interest points. Wonderful host, beautiful garden. Coffe, juice, water, coke, butter, tea, jam, everything from the house. Even an very nice soap.100% natural. After a long day, after visiting Round, when I’ve arrived in the room, I found cookies, home made from the owner!!! WONDERFULL!!

The accommodation was excellent. A free mini bar is also provided.
