Cheap. Takes 5-10min to reach the main roundabout, but you need to light the path with something in the dark. Decent WiFi.

I don't like to give negative reviews, and out of so many stays I rarely do. But I honestly can"t recommend staying there. The current online rating is deceiving. Everything in the room needs to be either cleaned or replaced. Sheets are stained, even the replacement ones that were kindly and very quickly delivered. The room has a smell of an old apt. I guess all the fabrics (pillows, mattresses, curtains) have mold in it. Not the light smell, either. They clean the dust, but everything is covered in grease. The table looked like it was used in a cafeteria or something from the accumulated grease stains all over. You get every type of bug in your room, even lizards. Also either there are rodents in the room or in the ceiling because I found some small rodent excrement on the mattress in the morning. Could be mice, could be squirrel since there are plenty of them around. If you use AC, you will hear water dripping non-stop since it falls into the shower from the height of 1.5m. Also, the checkout felt a bit scammy since the price in local currency increased by 10-15%. When asked about it, the host explained fluctuation in currency rates the day before, which, of course, wasn't the case or at least not even close to the percentage mentioned. All in all - if it would say it is cheap and the rating is 6, then I would not mind. But the current image of cheap and rating 9 is absolutely deceiving.

the room was big, the location was quiet but 10 mins walk to any shops, the breakfast was delicious. the staff was kind and helpful, they organize day tours at a reasonable price.

Location is perfect as the hotel is in a « peaceful » area close to the busy main streets of the city center. Owner was always super available for any type of querries.

Leaks due to high rains in the room and mosquito net could be replaced since several big holes.

The location is perfect, 10min walk from Main Street but with quite surrounding, the host is helpful and friendly and arranged my trip to Sigiriya with very beautiful route taken, the room is clean and have a view of sunset sunrise. The only thing I missed was the breakfast cause I set off too early in the morning.

It is very close to Dambulla town and the environment is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed there for one night and the owner was really friendly. Great value for the money. Comfortable bed and rooms. Nice common area for socializing and meeting other travelers. Will definitely come back here again.

Place is very quite & paceful around 800mts from main road, Gayan was awesom guy he welcomed us to th property as w reached lat night to th place gav us welcome drink and arrangd tuk tuk for us and suggstd good hotl to have som food .. Morning Breakfast was awesome...Loved the property

Night time there are no stret lights due to ongoing crisis in srilanka so to reach road we ned some vehicle.. rest all are good

Amazing place! The owner is very good and friendly! Calm and quiet environment. The rooms were spacious & up to the standard and all the little amenities made my 2 nights stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Good location, quite surroundings, clean place and nice room and terrace. Friendly host that welcomed us with juices.

Breakfast included in room price but bread should be toasted and we were charged for first tea/ instant coffee with out been told was extra. First time that happens. Guests should know if is any extra cost before been served.
