very welcoming

The staff was very pleasant and the common areas were very cozy. We played a board game in the lounge and Tara was very friendly/tentative.

Unfortunately the room was in the appearance that it had not been cleaned. There were crumpled up leaves on the floor and also a lot of glitter (strange). The bathroom shower had long hair all over the walls and the shampoo was almost empty. We then worried if the sheets we slept in all night had ever been changed. The breakfast buffet was also a huge disappointment. The small quiche were cold and not what they were labeled as. There was fruit but it appeared to be over ripe or bad. The only other choice was cereal. Like I said the place is cozy but for the price point we expected a better level of cleanliness. We let the girl know at the front desk when we departed and she said she would tell the manager.

Breakfast was very disappointing. For the price that we paid to stay there, I was expecting a nicer breakfast. The pancakes were cold. A continental breakfast at a hotel far exceeded what we received.

Restaurant and bar were closed (on a Tuesday) and couldn’t even get a drink let alone dinner. Very much wish I had known this when booking. Their restaurant was one of the key attractions.

Nothing!! Rip-off. Very disappointing for the amount per night: dirty and smelly rooms, no one came to make bed, change towels-had to ask for towels and when given they were stained, air conditioner was filthy-coated w dust.

Wonderful B & B. Shuttle you to a beautiful beach. Are one regret was not going to the beach the day of check in. The shuttle bus driver was Wonderful! He even helped us bring cooler to a spot on the beach! The bed/pillow was so comfy we did not want to wake up!

Really charming, comfortable place.

A little homogeneous in terms of crowd. The receptionist when we arrived was not very friendly but maybe he was having a bad day.

Breakfast was good! Omlettes pre made but warm and delicious overnight oats. The grounds were beautifully kept and bicycles and beach chairs were available to borrow. The room was spacious.

The room could have had better lighting and more shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries. I did request an iron that never came. Due to COVID, housekeeping during the stay was unavailable.

Very comfortable place to stay, friendly folks, lots of interesting collectibles in the common areas. Room was OK size for me with a great bed. Served one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. They called it continental, but was much more to me as well as unique and tasty.

Bathroom was tiny. I was too early to enjoy all of the facility and it looked like during the season it would be a fun place to stay with activities that were unavailable to me in off season. So, I probably did not experience everything they have to offer.

Great location, clean, quaint, great shower pressure, nice bathroom, loved the gas fireplace for heat, felt safe, great new windows, nice sheets, beautiful dining room. Would have dinner there next time

Bed was higher at the foot than the head, too many throw pillows on bed and all over the sofas. Not sanitary plus had to pile them all up in a corner so we could use all the cute sofas and chairs.
