From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel so welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The views from the restaurant are spectacular and the food was sublime. Loved the breakfast the next day too.

View is the highlight, and it doesn't disappoint. The restaurant is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast and dinner, and the food is great too. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The view from this resort is the highlight! The room was spacious and with a big balcony. Very nice staffs. Dinner was yummy!

There were two balconies with sofas to watch the exceptional views! Birds were very playful and flew very close to our room. Truly an unforgettable experience.
The room was huge! I don't really understand how the bed seemed bigger than usual. And the receptionist was so kind. She gave us many recommendations (e.g. which road is easier to drive on) and even volunteered to call our next accommodation because she was worried that there might be snow on the roads.
The staff at the restaurant was so lovely!! They gave us a bit of everything for breakfast because we couldn't decide (btw the juice was so refreshing!) and even helped to put the leftovers in a takeaway bag.
The roads up were a little too narrow for my liking, we should have taken the other route up

Excellent view, great breakfast, everyone very friendly. Excellent value for money.
Bed a little hard, no tea and coffee facilities, very quiet (but also part of its charm) i.e no significant issues at all.

The views are extraordinary. It’s an attractive, newish building, only a few minutes drive from Ostrog Monastery.
We booked the two bedroom suite, but the second bedroom only had a curtain rather than a solid wall. It seemed a strange choice, given it would have been easy to have installed a sliding door in the space.

Beautiful place with a really magical view. Modern, cozy and super clean rooms, the restaurant with excellent food and good selection of national dishes. Peace for the soul. Monastery Ostrog closeness. Friendly stuff. definitely recommend.

Location, location, location. Wow this place has that. Super views across the valley and to the monastery.
We chose this to simply be near the monastery for an early morning visit. But reality was the hotel location itself would of been well worth a visit all by itself1
The restaurant is great. We had a wonderful dinner and then breakfast the next day. The waiters guided us through the locals tips and what was best at this time of year. I suggest to follow their advice!

Friendly staffs, both in reception and restaurant. Nice dinner and breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Very quiet and very nice to watch the valley. It’s close the monastery. Wi-Fi worked smoothly.

Set in the most beautiful surroundings. The deluxe family room had exceptional views. You can see the monastery from the balcony and even from your bed reflected in the mirror.
Very clean rooms
Raspberry juice is so delicious as are the donuts.
No douvets so it was cold at night. There is Aircon unit but I don't like sleeping with the air conditioning on..
Food was a bit limited for vegetarians and kids.

We chose Hotel Sokoline because of its proximity to Ostrog Monastery so the location was perfect. The view from our balcony was incredible, even with some cloud. We can only imagine how amazing it must be on a clear day.
The room was spotlessly clean. The beds and bedding were the best we have had in 3 weeks of travel. Good pillows and really lightweight duvets. And the towels were even a little bit fluffy :)
The hotel restaurant food was good and the service by all hotel staff was excellent - all were keen to make sure our needs were met.
Only the weather let us down. The clouds rolled in to mar the view and the heavy fog the following morning meant both no view and a fairly hair raising drive down the windy and narrow road.
We highly recommend Hotel Sokoline for a visit to Ostrog Monastery and for the fabulous views (check the weather forecast)!

The view is phenomenal. The rooms are simple but we spent a great night here watching a huge storm pass through. The on site restaurant was surprisingly good too - don't miss the raspberry juice at breakfast.
