Lovely atmospheric property in beautiful gardens, great pool for laps. Owner Michele very helpful -provided great local wine. Kitchen basic but fine for simple meals. Perfect spot for exploring the unesco towns of the Val di Noto
not sure if we got the right room - the description said a garden view but the room was on a courtyard. not a big problem, though as its such a lovely property.

Peaceful location, great apartment and swimming pool, friendly owners and drinkable water out of a tap. Villa full of history and an interesting museum.

Owners were very welcoming and helpful. Amazing historical setting, with stunning pool and gardens. Every detail was considered. The accomodation was very private and plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

The property itself was amazing. The accommodation had only quality furniture and cutlery etc. the host was also very welcoming.

The accomodation itself was just wonderful. Lovely from inside and very beautiful views. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
When booking there was an option to order breakfast upon arriving but this option was not available.

Beautiful farming grounds and surroundings. We received fruits, vegetables and eggs from the owner. The location is very central in southwestern Sicily, yet very tranquil. Very nice location for families!
No heated pool, would have paid extra to use one.

We had a wonderful experience in Casale Modica. The place is magnificent, it’s beautiful, charming, authentic, etc, etc, etc…It reminds me those Tuscany luxury Villas that appears on the TV films.
The people who manage it are very nice people, the gives to you a ver good experience.
it hasn’t restaurant but if you asked it, Gianfranco may cook for you some delicious and ecological meals with things from they own farm, and you can eat it in a precious garden.
Casale Modica definitely exceeded our expectations.

Location was good to reach different towns and beaches in the area. The building and the garden look pretty and have potential. The cats were adorable. The free parking is useful.
- The apartment was dusty, full of spider webs, humid and dark.
- We experienced a real issue with millipedes. Not just on the terrace but also inside the apartments. Every day, morning, afternoon, evening and night, tens of millipedes (5/6cm long) were populating the walls and the ceiling. Found one near my toothbrush. The owner said it's normal so, if you don't like insects, stay far from it. We didn't like to brush millipedes off the walls and the terrace everyday. Too much stress for a holiday. This is why we decided to run away from it.
- WiFi was not existing in the apartment even if the description said it did.

This is a stunningly beautiful place to stay- a gorgeous courtyard with a lovely palace along one side, and lots of flowers, a garden with lush vegetation and lots of fruit to pick, and a really elegant swimming pool. The apartment was also a comfortable and uplifting place for a family of 4. The hosts were delightful.

Great ornament, nice yard, cats and environment. Pastrodical lifestyle, great hospitality. Nice place to escape from big city and enjoy the authentic sicilican countryside life.
Have to be careful about the overload of electricity and wifi is not very stable.
