I have been traveling this big beautiful planet of ours now for 15 years. I have seen 50 amazing countries and stayed in all sorts of places. The hospitality of John Paul leaves me speechless! Such a kind and caring soul who treats his guests like family. The accommodations are far more than anyone can hope for! Amazing tranquility and luxury. My only regret was not discovering this amazing place before.

The accommodation was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable. I spent 6 nights there and found it to be perfect location, far enough away from the main centre but close enough to walk or uber which are very well priced. The other main factor for me were the hosts Jean Paul and Por his wife. I mean Jean Paul just couldn't have done enough for me with his local knowledge and contacts and both Jean Paul and Por, along with their gorgeous little baby daughter were the perfect hosts.

The location was about 2 blocks from the beach and pretty close to the Malecon. John Paul was a great host and also provided suggestions on activities and lunch/dinner.

We liked everything!

Really nice breakfast outside next to the pool. Friendly and well informed owner of the area. Helpfull and fast responses via text messages. Car parked in own parking space with automatic doors. Walking distance to supermarket/restaurants. Handy to have a (rental) car though.

John Paul is a fantastic host. very friendly, provides recommendation for tours, restaurants, things to do. The villa is very beautiful, in a veey nice area, room was spacious, breakfast by the pool amazing. I would definitively recommend it!

this is a great place to stay, we were here just over a week and it was a real home from home. the room, junior suite, was very spacious and super comfortable and clean. bed was a great size and very comfy. lots of places to lounge and lots of hot water for showers-room is cleaned as often as you want. there aren’t loads of rooms here so has a very quiet and personalised and again, home from home feel. breakfast is excellent and made to order in the lovely cool courtyard by the pool at a time of your choosing. the location is great, away from the bustle of town but with everything you need close by including a choice of restaurants a supermarket and a beach all walking distance. it’s a short and cheap Uber ride to town or a longer but completely do’able walk. JP was such a great host. I arrived with a stomach bug and he was so helpful taking me to a pharmacy on day one and when that wasn’t working, a doctor, where he waited to make sure the doctor spoke English and I was ok. completely over and above. he also gives great recommendations for bars and restaurants and will arrange day trips and tours for you, all of which were excellent. thank you for everything again JP.

John Paul's bed and breakfast home in La Paz is amazing! 😀 Everything was super clean, including the swimming pool. Getting around La Paz is easy as you can drive everywhere and find parking quickly. If you don’t have a vehicle don’t worry as you can use Uber to avoid taxis to get you to the malecon or town center. It's only about $4 USD one way. I'd definitely stay in John Paul's bed and breakfast again 👍
