I loved that Darryl had kept the pool heater on for me, so that I could have a very enjoyable swim on arrival around 4pm. I also very much appreciated the hot outdoor shower complete with soap, shampoo & conditioner. It was just what I needed after 4-5 days of car travel. Thanks so much Darryl & Maria.
Both Darryl and Maria were extremely warm, welcoming & chatty on our arrival, and departure. The unit was very homely with knick knacks and kitchen appliances. They were also spot-on on recommending where we should eat, including the fact that the meals were so large that we may need to bring home a "doggy bag". We didn't do that ... our eyes were bigger than our stomachs as the meals were so tasty.
The 2nd bedroom was quite croweded with beds (great for a family) and even tho I found a small table for a bedside table, it did block the doorway into the en-suite bathroom.
Darryl explained the situation with the "macerator" which was necessary for the downstairs ensuite, which even tho a little noisy, didn't disturb sleep in the other bedroom, but there did seem to be a slight odor associated.

Very friendly and kind hosts. We felt very welcome and appreciate their work on the accom. Kitchen well supplied and lounge area homely. Main bedroom ok. Clean bedding. However...
The second bedroom and the attached bathroom had no windows. Bunk beds, double bed, and single all squeezed into the room, claustrophobic and musty smelling. Hard to move around. Plumbing very noisey. Towels old and thin.

The owners are on hand as they live above and are very friendly.
they have done an exceptional job fitting the unit out, you do not want for anything. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bonus was the swimming pool.
I would definitely recommend the accommodation if you are in Lakes Entrance.

All the little things that were provided. Washing Machine & Dryer; Dish Washer; Quality Smart TV in both living area and the bedroom and the bed was so comfy.

Lovely property, excellent facilities and immaculately clean. Daryl and Maria are wonderful hosts, very warm and host. Lovely heated pool, an added bonus.

Maria, Darrell and little Frieda were just amazing; hospitable, kind, generous, informative and obliging. They provided all the mod cons, were available for questions yet respected privacy. they were also very caring pet owners and appreciated that owners that were particular about their pets ( we have two cats) would also be particular about respecting the accomodation. it was like staying at Nonna’s and Pop’s place! just lovely. thank you!

There was nothing to not like about the property! First and foremost we loved the hospitality - warm and inviting! There was nothing that could have been done to make our stay more enjoyable! The pool was heated for a late night swim ! Darrell even drove us to the local shop ( while our electric car was charging) to buy milk! He offered his own but we wanted soy milk. They gave us tomatoes from their garden and left us with a parting gift of tomato chutney! The house was immaculate! If we wanted to stay there again it would be top of the list!

Darrell and Maria are the beutiful people. They were very welcoming and were waiting for us to arrive. Also did a complete tour of the property and the facilities, which by the way were great value for money.
The place felt exactly like home to me.
