Very minor points: bedside tables would have been useful, in the daytime it was sometimes a bit cold (but we could have asked for heating to be adjusted and we didn’t feel we needed to)

Our hostess could not have been nicer or more helpful! The flat was immaculately clean and lovely. The beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic. 10 out of 10!

Beautiful property with great facilities in a perfect location for exploring Bath.

Helen’s place is absolutely amazing! It's clean and everything you possibly can think of for a holiday is available - a fully equipped kitchen, coffee station (with coffee capsules too!), and books! Helen was very responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to return!

Southcot Place is conveniently located for Bath city centre. The apartment was comfortable, quiet and beautifully thought out, we had everything we needed. Helen, the owner met us, to hand over the keys and to explain about parking and how things worked, in the apartment. I have to say, whenever I contacted Helen prior to our visit, she was very quick to respond and helpful with her answers - much appreciated.

Helen the owner communicated well in the run up to the visit and was really helpful throughout. The sun terrace set in a beautiful walled garden as perfect for alfresco drinks and a sunny breakfast spot.

The accommodation is so well placed for the centre of Bath, just a few minutes walk. It is roomy, comfortable and homely, very comfortable beds and in a quiet and peaceful location. Helen, the owner was very approachable & friendly and welcomed us and answered our questions and made suggestions to make our trip more enjoyable. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Just returned from a fabulous Pre Christmas Weekend in Southcot Place. The apartment was perfect, can’t fault it in anyway! A real home from home and excellent location. Helen was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely love to return in the future.

The personal touch and luckily being able to have early access

The location of Southcot Place, south of the city but within a 5-10 minute walk, is perfect. The train station is only 5 minutes away and you can walk to Prior Place and the Skyline Trail directly from the property.

Location was great ; walking distance from the train station and the center . One has to be able to walk up the hill. It is in a quiet and very charming area

Nothing we didn’t like

Excellent location - the centre of Bath is only a short walk away, yet the apartment is located in a very tranquil area. We felt very at home and relaxed here. We breakfasted in the garden each morning, looking at the views and enjoying the peace. We appreciated the provision of some basics (milk, tea, coffee, toiletries) and loved the welcome basket which included a few treats. Previous reviews note problems with WiFi - we had no issues at all with it. We would definitely book again. Thank you Helen, the lovely host.

Nothing really, all was great. If constructive recommendations are wanted, the only little niggle for us was a lack of bedside tables - a small, movable table would do the job just fine.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac this period property is 5 minutes into town with a lovely high street nearby. A great location and in Helen a very helpful host. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely spotless! Couldn't find fault with anything!! What a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location! 10min walk max to get into Bath Town! The beds are comfy and nice and cool due to them being in the basement, this meant on a hot day (30°) we could sleep comfortably!! Bathroom was amazing, and the kitchen and living room to match. Everything you needed in the kitchen was there plus more. Garden area was gorgeous where we had late night drinks with snacks and card games. Every light bulb worked!!! (which for me is normally a big bug bear). Home for home! Helen the host was lovely - take me back now!!
