Great location and the room was clean and tidy.

The sound travelled between the rooms on the floors which was really loud. I didn’t realise when I booked but our two singles were in an alcove that was only separated by a curtain which was unsuitable putting a child to bed there as they were kept awake by the TV and/or talking.

Please be aware of the noise factor when staying in one of the coastels.....we had kids running up and down in the room next to us and it was super noisy. Signs are in the room regarding this situ, and we feel that this info should be more tranparent pre booking.

it’s a nice place to stay for a couple or a family and not far from matakana , saw mill restaurant , cafe and a bar is just few steps away from the property.

the little shacks we’re very cute, enjoyed it a lot. the shower / toilet block we’re also great.

would have been great if there was a proper oven and the electric stove was sufficient but didn’t quite get hot enough to boil water properly.

Spacious, cute decor, lots of morning and afternoon winter sun in no.1 sail cabin. Lovely little sunny private outside deck area.

The sound travelled through floor. Sounded like we were rooming with an elephant next door, impossible to take an afternoon nap. Cant imagine what it'd be like with kids next door

Friendly, helpful and compassionate hosts. Lovely clean and calming queen suite. Perfect stay.

Really liked the automated check in and keyless entry, I wasn't there much.

It was a little pricey for just a bed to sleep in, but if I was there for leisure rather than work it probably wouldn't bother me considering the area.

Nice well decorated room, clean and comfortable, with bluetooth speaker and an outdoors seating area.

For some reason only the remainder of 1 toilet roll was available, with no spares! The guests next door were also noisy, but luckily finished their party at 10.30pm.

Beautifully clean, light filled, calm, quiet space to spend a few days. Easy to get to, parking at the door, great location as a base from which to explore. Pretty little town with some lovely walks & also other places to visit within easy driving distance.
