Well-appointed and comfortable cottage with garden full of character and in great location for Mapua Wharf. Also convenient for accessing Abel Tasman park and other areas of interest locally. Responsive and friendly host.

es war so gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. die Gastgeberin hat uns ferner weil wir ein beschädigtes Auto hatten unentgeltlich 34 km zum Flughafen gefahren. Es ist die hilfsbereiteste Gastgeberin die mir in all den Jahren begegnet ist. einfach in allem 10 pkte.

Mapua was a lovely location, and the cottage was an easy walking distance to shops and the wharf cafes and restaurants. We could get to the Abel Tasman National Park from there, and/or take a boat trip along the park coast. The cottage was well equipped and we could do washing and get it dry on the outside line and drying rack. It was spacious and comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and provided good information about access.

Expect a step into and out of some rooms, e.g. the bathroom. Shower head was a little difficult to adjust to stay in place.

Great location. Lovely clean cosy cottage .

House was clean and tidy with everything we needed, including milk in the fridge (thankyou). Comfortable beds with toasty electric blankets. Close to shops ans eateries, easy to find.

We arrived early evening and the house was freezing! Despite cranking up the heat pump and closing all the curtains it was slow to warm up.
