This is a spacious comfortable well-appointed apartment, overlooking a small local square. Very convenient for the must-sees (like the cathedral), but not in the heart of the tourist area. The fascinating Plantin-Moretus Museum (history of printing) is just next-door ... another must-see. Excellent hosts too. We have no hesitation in recommending.
It wasn't a problem for us, but the square is popular in the evening, so there's good-natured noise. Just a point to note if you like peace & quiet.

The location is excellent - right in the heart of Antwerp, with pretty much everything within a couple of minutes walk. The flat is well furnished and airy and great for relaxing in. Loved the vintage arcade game!
A few larger sauce pans and a drainer would be good. Parking is very very tight and once the car was in I wasn't keen to remove it again until the end of the holiday.

The location is great with easy access to the city centre, sights and attractions. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Free parking in underground garage, with key code entry, is a big bonus if your driving (getting in is a bit tricky if you have a big car but lots of space inside). Spacious bedrooms and living area. Nicely furnished - it is a proper flat we only stayed for 2 nights but you could easily stay much longer with the family / friends.
Smell in the bathroom / toilet as we walked into the flat. Lack of clothes hanging options in the room (says the missus), view at the back of the property. Access to toilet / bathroom is via two doors - one from the bedroom and one from the corridor - and not lockable.

Spacious living room and very comfortable bed.
Noise from bars downstairs; no microwave or oven; shades need to be mostly down as its exposed to passers-by and bar seating given it's on the 1st floor.

Jake met us just as we arranged and was very helpful introducing us to the area and apartment. The location was great for visiting the Christmas markets and historic area. Lots of bars, restaurants and shopping in the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again.
A couple suggestions for improvement would be a bath mat, a couple more mirrors in the bedrooms, better lighting for playing cards and games.

Stairs were a bit of a challenge with my bad foot otherwise cant fault it
