The flat was really nice, comfortable and great location. I had an issue with the fuses (lights went off) and needed to text the owner at night and they promptly replied me.

I had an issue with the shower, first days it was just taking too long to drain but last night it wasn't draining at all. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I texted them about it and I've been told they haven't had the issue before and they would get fixed. Hopefully it is sorted as if it wasn't for that, I'd definitely recommend.

Perfect location, close to everything (Valetta city center, ferry to Sliema, shops, bus terminal, taxis,... ). Our host Emilija was very kind and helpful when having issues about a shortage of water and electricity.

The pictures of the Hastings studios are NOT what you get. There's no terrace and no patio. There's a little Juliette balcony, you can't even sit outside. Pictures show a stunning view, but that's not what you get. Trees are in the way and the studio is not high enough, so no sea view at all. There's also no ensuite bathroom. Separately next to your head end of the bed is a toilet. And at the other end a space with a shower. The studio is also not soundproofing as the neighbours watches television till 2 am and we could here everything.

Proximity to the city and transport out to the other parts of the island

There was noise in the evening from our neighbours tv which sounded like it could have been so close to our bed. There was also construction in one of the apartments that stated at 7.30! but hopefully that’s a temporary thing.

Nice and quiet room with all you may need for staying in Malta for many days. Really good position 5 minutes away from all the valletta city life Good view from the balcony!

Location of the apartment was perfect - is was close to the center of Valletta and at the same time away from all of the loud noises. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Apartment was well equipped with all required amenities. Bed was very comfortable with very comfortable pillows. If you're going to visit Valletta during colder months like us - the heating works well.

The toilet was a very big issue. It was located beside the bed, inside of a closet with sliding doors! All of the noises and toilet smells are right next to your head! The photos of the offer don't show the reality of this room. The cleanliness also wasn't perfect - visible dust on sliding mirror doors, stains in various places, various blankets which weren't exactly fresh.. The water pressure in the shower was too low, so washing long hair took a really long time.

Excellent location, stunning outlook from balcony, ideal for 1 or a couple, very comfortable, also in a quite location but 5 minutes walk to centre all bars and restaurants.

If you are staying at the property in autumn/winter it could do with better heating

Top marks to Joe, the owner of the apartment, who messaged us as soon as our plane landed to explain how to collect the keys - this was quite late in the evening - and was easily contactable throughout our stay to deal with any issues. The location of the apartment is unbeatable, with uninterrupted views over Hastings Gardens to the marinas at Pieta/Msida and a little convenience store right under the apartment which was open from 8-10.30am for bottled water, milk and other essentials. The overall cleanliness of the apartment was good, the shower was great and the bed really comfortable.

During our stay we made Joe aware of a couple of small "niggles", namely a broken light bulb (which wasn't replaced), the TV didn't work (he came round to fix this) and some items of crockery were not clean or were chipped. On the whole the apartment was well supplied but we could have done with some more mugs and luckily we always bring our own tea towels! The bathroom towel rail was broken and on our last morning we awoke to no running water at all. Not the Host's fault but it meant we couldn't shower, etc. before leaving. These issues didn't spoil a very pleasant trip but attention to detail is very important and other visitors might have been less relaxed than we were!
