Welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely room. Excellent meal in dining room. A very good breakfast in the morning.

Nice room but it was too warm at night. The restaurant was very good.

Shower pressure wasn’t very good

The staff was super helpful and welcoming. They even created a vegan breakfast for me. We ate in the Restaurant in the evening, too and it was very delicious. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. Thanks again for the great time and the yummy food.

Our room was spacious and with a view out the back of the building to the old jail on the hill leading up to Stirling Castle. The building is historic and the rooms fit the motif. No lift so be prepared for stairs but they will help with luggage on request. You can walk to everything of note in Stirling except maybe the Wallace monument which is a couple of miles away. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, though on the pricy side it is well worth the splurge. Likewise with breakfast though it is included in the room price. They do have parking onsite. Everyone is welcoming and attentive to your needs.

Can be a bit noisy from cars and customers coming and going from the car park out back in the late evening hours if you room faces that direction.

Nice and cosy and friendly stop off on the way to the Highlands, the staff were very welcoming and we ate well, which is not always easy when both are vegans. Private parking was a vey welcome feature, and the location was great for a short stroll to the old cemetery and castle before it got dark.

Staff were professionally friendly, not in your face, which was nice.

The room was dark, dingy, depressing. Had a kind of old Scotland feel with all the tartan, but the furniture seemed out of sync eg. an Ikea style wardrobe. The shower didn´t stay on.
