We never got the chance to taste breakfast. The location was fine.

I broke my ankle in 3 place due to uneven ground at the venue I was at for Shania Twain concert. The owner would not compromise on payment by either offering a part payment or offering us another night at the guest house at a different time. I am still in hospital and will be for a few more days due to the seriousness of the break. I feel this was a freak accident and I’m being punished.

We had a lovely time. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Our room was right at the front desk but also very quiet. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

Location molto comoda per il centro città senza dover usufruire di mezzi di trasporto. Parcheggio per auto riservato ed adiacente alla struttura, personale all'accoglienza cordiale.

Abbiamo trovato parecchio disordine e sporcizia un po' ovunque. Appena entrati (il meteo non accompagnava, pioveva...) si è subito sentito odore di umidità che risaliva dalla tanta moquette a terra. Nel corridoio verso la stanza c'era una panchina con sopra in disordine barattoli vuoti per le pulizie, interni per scarpe, bottiglie di succhi di frutta ma anche lenzuola pulite e questa roba c'è rimasta per tutto il tempo del nostro soggiorno, senza che nessuno si degnasse di mettere ordine o raccoglierla... Sempre nella stessa zona c'era un asse da stiro con ferro ma con degli stracci appoggiati sopra. La camera di piccole dimensioni, è ben disposta ma anche qui non abbiamo riscontrato molta pulizia e l'odore di umidità persisteva. Il bagno è di dimensioni ridotte ed in particolare il lavandino è paragonabile forse a quello di un caravan, piccolissimo. Nessun gancio di appoggio per asciugamani nemmeno per la doccia. Insomma, dal nostro punto di vista, decisamente mal organizzato.

The location and the friendly staff, generally the place was clean and had character. It’s close to the town and the sights. It suited our needs.

Nothing really it’s not 5 Star accommodation and I didn’t expect it to be.

Very good breakfasts at a very good price. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Great localisation close to Stirling city centre, 5 mins to walk to the train station, then only 40 mins to Edinburgh city centre. Stirling is also very charming and has a castle much better than in Edinburgh.

Windows could be repainted/restored, apart from this everything else was OK.

breakfast very good selection and was cooked to order, room was good for the time we were staying , location was excellent with parking which was a bonus, easy access to go into town and easy access to the motorway.
