The appartement was great, location was super in the nice old town part of Modica. Really enjoyed the courtyard. Our hostesses were super, we arrived very late due to our flight and we were picked up and brought driven to the apartment. I even got help organising late night pizza's Highly recommended and would love to come back

Love the location! Love being tucked away off a gated courtyard with a lovely rooftop patio. The apartment was well supplied with whatever I might need, but my stay was, alas, too short take use of these items. Shower was enormous (I'm a big guy so much appreciated) and there is a large bathtub upstairs at the foot of the bed 💞 And I must mention my kind and affable host Giorgio who met me at the bottom of the hill so that I could follow and find this little gem tucked down an alley. Grazie mille!

Just be sure to realize that the apartment is In Modica Alto, up a very steep drive or a maze of stairs and streets - could be daunting to some. I prefer this because you are away from most of the tourists and touristy businesses, and mostly around locals. Not a negative, perhaps an alert to some. Also, the bed is located up a short, steep flight of stairs. Again, not a problem for, the solo traveler, but, perhaps it should be noted.

Our stay at Historic Modica was great. The hosts are really warm and helpful. They give great recommendations and make sure that you feel comfortable at their place. We highly recommend it.
