Cleanliness was not great (old soap marks on the shower glass and shoe prints on the floor that weren't ours - we do not like wearing shoes from the outside in our room, and definitely not in bathroom where we have to be barefoot). Comfort: Also, sheets did not fit well on the bed and came off both nights we stayed, exposing the mattress :(

the staffs were rude, the bedroom wasn’t well cleaned, it looked dirty. not all the amenities were available, we had to change the room 2 times. the second time that we moved to another room, a rude staff didn’t ask our opinion and moved us to a king size bed room, even though i have solicited that my room must have a sofa-bed; she didn’t even consider our opinion, I paid $40 reais for this. there were pubic hair in the bathroom, signalizing the lack of cleanliness.

I was with my wife and kids and the hotel didn't have enough extra blankets for all of us.

Bed linen consisted of only the fitted sheet, no flat sheet above it, comforter going directly on your skin. That did not feel higienic, as it seemed unlikely they replaced the bulky comforter for each new guest. Bed sizes for the same room category are not consistent, I got two rooms with king sized beds for my family, the first one had a real big bed that matched the pictures shown in the Booking App. The other room, same category, had a visibly much smaller bed (quite different from the pics). The staff said that in their system, both rooms were the same and beds should be as well. As I insisted they were different and one much smaler, they agreed to give me another room. However, the bed in the “replacement room” was also of the smaller type, so I gave up and kept the original room with the smaller bed. The staff even gave me free breakfast to compensate for my frustration, they were nice. I concluded that although the staff was trying to be helpful, the root of the problem was that in the NOVOTEL system, they have two different room categories labeled as one, causing this inconsistency that only customer’s that book two rooms, as I did, could eventually notice. Those two points did not contribute for a good customer experience for me.
