Wonderful well equipped apartment with a shaded terrace overlooking a garden full of bougainvillea and beyond the sea. A 10-minute walk from the beach and shops but far enough away not to be disturbed by the beach restaurant music. Cyril and Sandrine are excellent, very knowledgeable hosts. Cyril provided us with a wealth of information about the island and of things to do, where to eat and what to visit. They offer a meal on arrival and essential supplies for the first breakfast (croissants, baguette, butter, jam etc.). This is very welcome since you don’t have to find a shop in the dark late evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location is great, it’s very close to the small village with the beach, supermarket and bakery.

We liked all of it, but mostly because of the great location and amazing Cyril, the host and his wife, Sandrine.  Actually, we decided for this option because of them. In some other comments I've read that Cyril is amazing, friendly and helpful, and we thought it would be great to have such a host. And it turned out everything was true. We arrived late so they served us the dinner and in the fridge there were products for breakfast the next day. And rum ponch of course! The 1st day morning Cyril spent his time with us and explained what is worth seeing/ visiting etc. He organized transfer from the airport for us, transfer to Le Marin and rent us 2 very nice cars, found us the place for PCR testing (needed for sailing to Grenadines). The apartments are good. They are located in the back, in the garden. Have large terrace, nice garden, well equipped kitchen and clean bathroom, AC is just old and very strong. *IMPORTANT - while searching for the hotel, we saw that Cyril & Sandrine are mentioned in the opinions of this place and another - Habitation Desrosiers. We chose Villa Campeche because we were sure it is private villa for our use only, not apartments. In the place it turned out these are apartments in a private house in which owner (some other lady) lives upstairs. You meet the owner all the time..Sometimes we felt like we were being observed. Luckily both apartments and terraces were ours so no other people were walking there. But, if we knew all these before, we would choose Habitation Desrosiers. Location and quality are even better, Cyril is the owner (not the host only) and there is amazing view!

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful! We were served a very good dinner on the arrival day (we ordered it for some extra money prior to arrival), and everything for the breakfast was provided as well so that we did not have to go shopping after the long trip to Martinique. We could also borrow snorkeling gear for free for the period of our stay. The apartment was rather spacious and very clean. The location of the apartment is great: from the terrace one sees the beautiful garden, and the rainforest and the Caribbean sea behind it, just beautiful! There are two nice beaches close by, one wild one that can only be accessed by foot (10 min walk downhill through the forrest), and one down the road (2 min by car) where the ferry to Fort-de-France departs (very nice beach with several small restaurants).

Don't expect a luxurious apartment, it is rather basic.

Our stay at the villa has been simply great! The garden in front of the villa is simply amazing and the house has everything you need for a perfect vacation in the area. Just our of the house, moreover, you'll find a path that leads to a very nice and wild beach. I would highly recommend to stay at the Villa, thanks especially to a great host: Cyrill. More than providing us a transfer from and to the airport at a very reasonable price, Cyrill has given us all the information we needed to explore the area around the villa. We'll always be grateful for that and advise other people who want to come to Martinique to get in touch with him for renting a place and/or a car.

Everything was just perfect! Nothing to complain about

Our hosts were very friendly and eager to help. The view was nice and the apartment very private. Short but hilly way to the beaches.

We were not so used to all kind of insects that came in.
