If you wanted to feel how it is to live and enjoy the snow in Rovaniemi then this is the place... they have a nice neighborhood... the apartment and the street is full of snow ❄️. We enjoyed snow since this is something we both don’t have in UAE and Philippines. We wanted to stay away from the city of Rovaniemi since it is hard for us to appreciate other city after living in Dubai for so long. This place is full of nature view. If you want to move from 1 place to another comfortably then we recommend you to rent a car. We decided to skip car rental since base on our itinerary we can save more. 1st day, Taxi from airport to here cost us 20euro. The nearest k-mart from here is 2km away so back and forth is 4km (we love to walk plus the street view is pretty awesome along the way). 2nd day, we walk again about 4km to Santa village, we met santa of course, did the reindeer and husky ride (walk-in, no advance booking needed)... walk back for another 4km and along the way we played on the snow... there are people you will see skiing also⛷ (k-mart is along the way if you want to pass by). 3rd day, we went skiing at ounasvaraa Ski. We took a bus which is 5mins away only and very reliable base on their schedule, fare is between 2-3euro. Bus stop to the ski resort is about 10mins walk. 4th day- we took the bus again all the way to the city centre. We stayed at the city for less than 3hrs and “FOR US” there’s nothing to enjoy at the city so we were excited to head back to our guesthouse. Along the way, we played again on the snow, took a lot of videos and photos. Last day- we left at 4:30am, book a taxi with minerva app and cost us 25euro.

I stayed with my husband here with 1 luggage each. I opened my luggage in the bedroom while my husband open his at the living area. We found the apartment small, they have 2 single beds, usually we can fit together in 1single bed but not with there bed. still this place is comfortable for us... for our entire 14days travel, we enjoyed the most here. Oh... they dont have washing machine and microwave.

Everything is excellent - new, clean, safe, cosy, comfortable, and owner is extremely helpful and responsive.

I travel with elderly with walking problem, need to take cab to and fro premise, hence spent a bit more on transport, but the property is less than 10min drive to santa Claus Village and airport hence good location if self drive.
