La côte ouest de Koh Chang possède une petite bande de terrain constructible entre la mer et la montagne. Elle possède une haute densité d’hôtels et de restaurants avec vue sur mer. Il y a donc une bonne densité de touristes et d’animation. L’hôtel Evergreen est une petite structure (18 logements), construite en 2018, très bien insérée au pied de la forêt, sur un bel espace de verdure, parfaitement entretenu. C’est est un havre de tranquillité où il est très agréable de se retrouver le soir, et même dans la journée. Les bungalows sont donc très récents, bien conçus, dans un beau style épuré. On s’y sent tout de suite très bien car ils sont très propres, lumineux, fonctionnels, bien isolés et avec une climatisation qui fonctionne parfaitement et très silencieusement. Le Wifi est aussi très efficace. La responsable de l’accueil, Sarisa, est un véritable “couteau suisse” qui fait le maximum pour prendre en compte vos demandes et vos problèmes. Tout le personnel a toujours un grand sourire, pas seulement commercial, mais emprunt de beaucoup de gentillesse et de bienveillance. La propreté du site et des logements est impeccable. Le restaurant, où la Maman de Sarisa cuisine, et son frère assure le service, est remarquable. La salle est calme et agréable et la cuisine thaï est délicieuse. Le rapport qualité prix y est imbattable. Pour une petite structure, la carte est honorablement variée. Néanmoins, si vous ne pouvez pas vous passer du steak ou de la pizza, il faudra sortir en bord de plage. De même, si vous voulez avoir les mêmes prestations qu’au Hyatt ou au Mercure en payant seulement un tiers du prix, passez votre chemin ! Il y a également une piscine avec une eau d’une limpidité que j’ai rarement vue dans un hôtel. Vous pouvez partir découvrir les îles du Sud (Koh Kood et Koh Mak) pour la journée, voire quelques jours. Sarissa peut vous garder une valise. Ce début décembre est parfait pour la météo, une chaleur supportable et pas un seul jour de pluie.

Vu l'excellent rapport qualité prix, si l'on veut des prestations supplémentaires, il faut changer d'hôtel. Rien ne nous a déplu.

The staffs are so friendly and helpful. Cleanliness and greening of the environment. The kitchen provides very good Thai cuisine with good price, I tried different foods there and really enjoy them.

The location, still it’s good for the persons like a natural, quiet place. The resort provides 4 time free pick-up to and fro White sand beach (15 minutes drive) a day and motocycle rent (250 THB a day), free bike .

Quiet, private, friendly staff, excellent food

Super peaceful, very comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's out of the way, but if you are looking for relaxing and peaceful, this is it. They did, however, provide free shuttle service when we needed to go somewhere other than the resort.

No tea and coffee in the room

I liked the breakfast, I think it was good and the staff was helpful. I also liked the remote location so there was no noise from traffic and restaurants. I rented a scooter from the hotel so location was not a problem for me, scooters were in really good condition and 250baht a day. They also have free transfer to White Sand Beach and back 3-4 times a day.

Geckos :D I know this is SEA so they are everywhere but somehow they really liked my room. Maybe not the place if you are really afraid of them like me, jungle is just in the backyard. Maybe other rooms have less than mine.

The photos don’t do justice to this place. It looks much better and cozier in real life. The pool area was amazing. And great breakfast.

Clean and cozy rooms, home-like breakfast. The staff is really nice and most welcoming, ready to help and answer any questions. There is a free transfer to White Sands Beach.

The Bed no so comfortable

It is a hidden gem on Koh Chang. It has a lot of benefits such as free transfers to the White Sand beach, bicycles for free, motorbikes for rent, laundry service, barbecue, superb breakfasts, delicious food at the restaurant and most important amazing staff that makes you feel very welcoming by doing their best to fulfil your needs. In our case they provided some extra things that we needed for remote work. So we stayed for 5 weeks and really enjoed our time here. This place is really well designed, with a beautiful garden, clean pool, cozy warm lightnng and mountain views. It's a great value for money and it feels like home.

Having to leave :( I can only wish a few things like having a fruit corner(shop) and a bigger variety of international dishes!

Shower water pressure

Great new resort on a very peaceful side of the island. Beautiful gardens and very clean pool. The hotel has a free shutle service to 'White Sand Beach', where there are lots of beach bars and restaurants. They also offer free bikes. You can also rent brand new scooters directly at the hotel for 250b a day, whitout needing to leave a deposit or passport. Rooms on the 2nd floor of the building in front of the pool are very well maintained. Good size, nice view into the jungle/ pool. Staff is very accomodating and helpful. They were able to cook pancakes with soya milk instead of normal.

Shower preasure is not the best.

New and modern resort with different groups of bungalows and pool. It’s located quite far from the main village and beach, nevertheless is quiet and silent. Walking distance to the main road with convenience shops and local restaurants. Very nice and helpful stuff, free shuttle car to and back from the beach. Nice breakfast with buffet and choice of local and international food. Also dinners were very good with Thai menu. Beautiful and well-kept garden.

Good base for a few nights, close to the ferry port. can rent motorcycles from the hotel for 250 Baht which are brand new ones and they do laundry at 40 Baht per kilo or 60 Baht with ironing.

Didn’t have a hair dryer which was really frustrating but not the end of the world. There wasn’t really anywhere to store your bags in the room, we are backpacking so basically live out of our bags not using wardrobes but there wasn’t a table or anything anywhere to put our bags so sort of just got left in the middle of the floor, again, not the end of the world. The location is about 5-10 minute walk to the main road which has a 7 Eleven right on the corner but the beaches are all quite a distance and over the very hilly roads, the hotel do a shuttle service which I believe is free though which is always nice for those that don’t drive and or have children.

Stunning green location, v quiet, excellent pool, free and frequent transport to White Sand beach. Fabulous breakfast, lovely staff, peaceful, excellent value.

It was perfect

Me and my fiancee enjoyed our stay at Evergreen and wished we had more time there. The staff is really helpful. They arrange free rides a number of times a day, and in other occasions will call a taxi for you. The yard is taken excellent care of. There's a nice pool and lots of greenery around. Calm, relaxing surroundings. The hotel has a restaurant too. We loved dining there for the last two nights once we found out how good green curry they make! 😍 Even though it's not by the beach, it's definitely worth coming here. It's close to nature and you can still take a bicycle (offered for free by the hotel) and explore around.

Nothing, suited our needs to explore the island and decide where to stay long term

the resort was very well maintained. Clean, comfortable rooms and a well-kept garden and pool area. Staff were friendly, scooter rental was simple and being close to the pier, you were in prime position to visit both sides of the island.

We liked everything. If you’re after more bars and restaurants you’ll need to drive about ten mins but there are restaurants within walking distance, too.

Staff not really warm but very competent (front desk, restaurant) Quiet. Good value restaurant. Nice and clean swimming pool. Parking for bikes and cars.

Cleaning could be better every day. They would miss lots of obvious spots. No real privacy with glass doors.

Wonderful place, far away from the noise and rush of busy places located near hotspots. The pool is really nice. Stunning view! 😊 Don't let its location fool you, they provide transport to the White Sand Beach if needed.

The staff is lovely and helpful. Breakfast is good. Pool is wonderful and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Motorbike is in order to get to the beach but it was nice to come back home to Evergreen after a day at the beach and hop in the pool.

Evergreen is an excellent place to stay in the North of Ko Chang close to the ferry pier. Very quiet, pleasant for those who do not expect the proximity of noisy bars. Nice room newly built and clean in a quiet garden near the swimming pool. Staff very pleasant and ready to fulfill your needs. The resort offer a restaurant service of good quality that is useful in that part of Ko Chang quite far of places with lots of restaurants.

Everything was fine and up to my expectations.

Great location, near the pier ( free shuttle), and halfway between the 2 sides of the island. The garden was perfect, the pool clean and fresh, as advertised. Em from reception was very kind and comprehensive and always a pleasure to deal with. The bungalow was in fact a nice little cottage and was very private and comfortable. We ended extending for 10 days. I would return in a heartbeat !
