Everything! Host and staff were brilliant and great at having contact with you and making sure you had everything you needed. Bikes free to rent although everywhere is easily walkable! Villa and pool perfect size for a couple. 2 minute walk to the beach 🏝️ with the most amazing sunsets I’ve ever seen. Honeymoon stay for us and it was everything we could have asked for.

the beds were extremely hard - very uncomfortable - not enough comfortable seating area to sit together - the upstairs area too hot

Very cool and edgy with lovely facilities and pool in the garden. relaxing and very close to the north side of the island where the sunset. we had bikes that made it easy to go around the island. overall was a lovely stay but we wished we could have stayed longer. the staff also organised all our boat transport, pick up and drop off to the next locations. it was very helpful.

it was far enough away from the port to transport luggage without a horse and cart. we did not like using these animals at all but the dirt roads make it very hard to wheel suitcases so this could be something to bare in mind when travelling here.

minor issue was with the shower temperature, going straight from too cold to too hot, which make the shower much longer to try to get a proper temperature (and you use more water :( )

This place is absolutely stunning. We extended our stay and moved over to the 2 bedroom villa, which we personally liked even better than the 1 bedroom version primarily because of the pool (it’s bigger and the entire outdoor area is just amazing). The entire staff is just great, everyone is super friendly and helpful at all times. Lutpi is always available and goes out of his way to help us with everything we could ask for, thanks again for everything! Communication is great as well, either in person or via their designated WhatsApp group. We’ve been to all kinds of villas in Bali and the Gili Islands over the years, this place is hands down one of the best places we’ve been to - if not the best. I’d definitely recommend you stay here, you’re in great hands on a beautiful island. We’ll be back for sure!

Great place, lovely wooden-style villas with private pools, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants etc. The staff was amazing, everyone was extremely attentive and friendly. Especially Lutpi took great care of us, thank you again! In fact we liked it so much that we just extended our stay =)

Private and secluded the villa had a beautiful traditional stye, open outdoor concept including bathrooms which we love. bedrooms had adequate air conditioning making sleeping very comfortable, whilst enjoying exploring the island, the beaches and lanes during the day.

The location is a bit remote and not on the beach. There are other villas on the site which are very close together and some guests were a little noisy.

Everything was great. A bit expensive, but totally worth it.

Everything about Apalagi is absolutely amazing. I have to say, I don't think i've ever stayed anywhere that has such a stylish and authentic design; the villa we stayed in was really beautiful and matched the vibe of Gili Air perfectly. The pool was big, and it felt completely private. There's a small garden area, lounge chairs, an outdoor shower and lots of beautiful flowers. The villa itself is stunning, and has everything you could need. We were met at the villa and given advice on where to go for food/activities on the island, which was super helpful. The way they communicate at Apalagi is also great, via a personal Whatsapp group you can message at any time with questions or requests. We ordered breakfast this way on our last morning and a taxi to the port. The breakfast was amazing, would highly recommend. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful, and we felt really welcomed. They also provide free bikes you can use to get around the island which we took full advantage of and was very helpful. Location wise, it's hard to have a bad location on such a small island, but Apalagi villas is in a quiet area which means it is very peaceful, while also being about a 5 min cycle from the beach or great restaurants/bars. We'd definitely stay again and I find it hard to believe there is anywhere better to stay on Gili Air.

Amazing villa, very comfortable stay and very caring staff that helped us with different things during our stay. Layout is very convenient - first level is a communal space with a small kitchen, on the second you have a spacious bedroom and a nice bathroom with AC.

The staff were really lovely and helpful, the room was so spacious and bed was super comfy! the en suit was so much bigger than what we thought, the shower was lovely and you could see the sunset whilst showering! the private pool was lovely and having a kitchen allowed us to have a night in and cook together which was lovely! it would be amazing for couple!

Loved this place! Exactly what we were looking for in our time in Gili Air, peace and quiet but still very close to the beach and the rest of the island thanks to their complementary bicycles. Everything was within a 10min bike ride if not less. The design of the villa was so thoughtful, artistic, and high class from the lighting and quality of the furniture. Exactly like the pictures.

Water was lukewarm in the showers, which was fine as it was refreshing, but maybe a little cold if you’re showering at night.

The pool was ok.

The pictures are nothing like reality, the place is quite old and dirty, we were very disappointed. Breakfast was in the words of my daughters "disgusting". Being one of the most expensive accommodations we found online, we expected something else and we found it wasy very dirty an old.

The Villa is just incredible! Pool and architecture are breathtaking. Simply one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been… Gili Air is incredible too… ocean, beach, people - just wonderful…

service and breakfast could be better… you get better breakfast in the restaurants nearby for less money, cause it’s not included. bikes are ok, but also not included (45 k/per day).
