Location is near some nice restaurants and not too far to walk from the port.

We were really disappointed with our room. We were put in room 1, which was right behind the kitchen. The space was very small. We understood that these are authentic teak huts, built in the local style, but the main structure was extremely small. We walked along to compare to some of the other rooms at he hotel, and room 1 was visibly a lot smaller than the others available, which was not made clear in the photos or booking materials. The staff even apologised when they brought us to the room, as if they agreed it was the worst one. The roof of the bedroom was not fully attached to the structure, so we could see light coming through, which meant mosquitoes could easily come into the room. When we opened the wardrobe, there were spider webs inside it. The air con was on when we arrived, but because the room wasn't sealed, it had absolutely no effect and the room was really hot. We also walked up to to the hotel pool at the back of the property, and it seemed to have a broken filter as there was a lot of material in and on the water. If you want the authentic outdoor experience, then Blu d'Amare may be for you - however we left immediately and found another hotel to stay in on the island.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was great (we saw turtle in the sea right outside the hotel) The food and drinks were nice Fantastic view from the balcony (aside from the big tree, brightly lit sign, and net covering the tables)

The room was nothing like the pictures, the hotel is in need of lots of repairs. The room was dirty, there was mould on the mosquito net. The bedding didn't fit the bed, the bed sheet only partly covered the mattress. The mattress and pilows are in need of an upgrade. The bathroom was filthy, the tap on the sink was not a proper tap. The air conditioning didn't really work. It was set to 16degC yet it was warmer in the room than outside.they tried to fix it, but this only made it worse. The hot water stopped working, the engineer fixed it, and went for his tea without telling us. He had also forgotten to turn the hot water on to the room. The paint and plaster was falling of the walls. The window in the bathroom wouldn't close so mosquitoes were getting in.

Got a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Terrific service and very friendly staff

The meals I had on-site were not as good as the other options on the island

we stayed in the sea view room not the bungalows but the water came out of the tap brown the floorboards were broken and coming up bathroom smelled needs updating

Everything but especially the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable (bungalow no.2) with v effective AC and a huge shower. The breakfasts were filling ( v egg orientated!) with fruit juices and fruit platters included. The swimming pool was great too - salty and sea like. The sea is just across the road and snorkelling opens up a world of glorious fish and even a turtle or two. The property is a 10 minute walk from the jetty but worth a pony cart ( about 75k RP) if you've got suitcases. Location is great, close to lots of dive schools and restaurants but a bit further away from the busiest area. Blu d'Amare exceeded my expectations and would definitely stay again.

the safe in the room wasn’t bolted down so a bit uncomfortable keeping valuables and there is some maintenance that needs to be done. example was replacing some spots of wooden floors and steps as it may result in injury

we loved our ocean facing room!! sunrise was stunning every morning and the direct access to the beach was perfect. we also loved the pool! the staff was so accommodating and helpful- we arrived before our check in time and they set us up with two beach chairs and towels so we could relax while the room was prepared. the staff greeted us by name whenever we saw them. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Very cute looking place to stay in Gili. Staffs are wonderfully friendly and helpful. It was really an enjoyable experience staying there

The hotel is perfectly located, very close to the restaurants and bars but not in a noisy area. The staff couldn't have been kinder and helpful, we had a wonderfull stay, the bed are very confortables, the breakfast on the beach very good and we had a lot of fun with the staff's members. I highly recommand you this place.

Staff was great and the location like directly at the ocean.

Bad smell in the room when AC was turned off and room got warm (like animal sour smell). When People are Passung by (coming back from partying it can get quite loud because it is at the beachwalk)

The room was cosy, well located, and had a great view right onto the beach. All the staff were super helpful throughout the stay. Definitely recommend this place.

Wifi wasn't very reliable.

Very big and good breakfasts. Nice and clean rooms. One bungalow had no garden view at all. We were upset, because it was completely different from pictures in booking. Stuff changed it in 5 minutes to a 2 bedroom villa with no extra charge. Best location. Good beach. Many turtles and good coral reef.

The kitchen smell The staff not trustworthy (I mentioned 3 times that the Aircon in my room was not working, they said "yes we fix it", and never did ...) The mosques noises all day from 5am (though the hotel cannot do anything about it)

All round amazing hotel with incredibly nice staff - highly recommended.
