Reasonable sized room. Complementary breakfast was nice touch. Free parking available. Good size shower. Decent hairdryer. Room nice and quiet. Tea and coffee tray well stocked. Huge TV!.

Couldn't open window as up against showeroom door frame so room a bit too warm. Shower room appears to have been newly renovated because there was tile dust in the sink as well as soap stains. The floor grouting hadn't hardened so large chunks of grout were over the floor in the morning. The toilet was shoe horned into the shower room, so when you sit on it your knees are against the door frame. There were no curtains so light shone in around the blinds. Bed very squeaky and pillows to soft for me - that's a personal preference though. Menu for evening meal was very limited for vegetarians and veggie options were over priced. Husband enjoyed his meal. Complinentary buffet was nice but could have done without the mouldy croissant! Husband wanted to speak to manager re shower room and left contact details but not heard anything yet. For the most part these were minor issues for an overnight stay. We were due to return in July and would have done but dates we wanted weren't available. Perfectly acceptable room but not deluxe!

The food was really good. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was a good size. Staff were friendly. Nice decor (a little blingy perhaps, with glittery paint and wallpaper). Big shower with coloured LED lights was a bit different.

They were doing some work at the time and there was a very strong smell of solvent/ adhesives which was very unpleasant and migraine inducing. Car parking is a little tight, but I did manage to get a space. The rooms are quite expensive. I couldn't turn the light off in the bathroom.

The room decor was nice it was freshly decorated to a high standard The shower room was excellent

Car parking was a joke I arrived and could not park due to inconsiderate guests taking up more than once space and I had to reverse out onto a main road twice. They should forget advertising they have a car park. There is no disabled parking either by the way. Also it is imperative you hand over your credit card in case you damage the room. Never in my life have I been asked to do this. Unsure of their card detail holding protocol but I would question this. I felt uncomfortable with this and it made me feel not welcome or valued. The room was nice. The bedding was cheap I was cold due to the thinness of the duvet. The bottom sheets were hard and the flat sheet on the mattress came off so the bed was not well made. Breakfast was fine continental and ok. Evening meal was fine too. Small details need attended to and it would be a great stay. But I found it quite unwelcoming to be honest.

It’s beautifully done out with lovely decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was immaculate. Bathroom was definitely 5 star We ate in the restaurant and the meals were so good a great menu with lots of choice cooked beautifully.

Smiling, helpful staff, warm comfortable room with coffee & teamaking facilities and a fridge, private car park, good breakfast. The room details said private external bathroom, but my room was ensuite.

Extremely well finished, clean, tidy and very well presented. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Bar is great with a log fire and nice atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The beer and cocktails were all wonderful.

Location was good apart from the road was closed due to roadworks. Breakfast was ok

There was no seating in the room apart from the bed which was a shame. And a fridge in the room next to a radiator. Very random
