-       The lovely setting on the beach with rooms directly facing the sea – it truly is a gem on this rather quiet and laid-back beach also frequented by many locals -       Furnishings/deco concept -       The lovely service and friendliness of all the staff -       The food/restaurant -       The great cocktails by Peter! -       Water activities as well as other sightseeing trips (Stone Town, spice farm tour, Mnemba Island, etc.) can be organized by a small family-run company next door to the hotel

-       The normal coffee definitely has upside potential but for 2$ you can get a real espresso :) -       Obviously, we did not expect to get proper bread, but regular toast would have been nice. My girlfriend is not a real breakfast person, so she was fine with the delicious fresh fruit, and they do freshly prepare pancakes and omelette for you – but with that it just would have been nice to have real toast (what they offer is some sort of sweet toasted brioche bread).

This is a a small and beautiful lodge located right on the large and marvelous beach of Kiwengwa. Italian owner and management with a perfect restaurant popular also for external customers, pizza is very satisfying such as all the other dishes of the menu. The staff members are all kind and careful but a special mention must be done for Rukia and Tatu, always very cheerful, smiling and professional. We spent very pleasant 4 days and 4 nights there, with a nostalgic feeling when was time to leave that peaceful little slice of paradise.

Certainly not a fault of the lodge management itself, but the vast amount of plastic trash abandoned almost everywhere in the roads and among the small village right at the back of the lodge (and in many other places across the island) it’s a dramatic problem that should concern everyone living and running a business nearby but also on the whole Zanzibar island. An act of responsability must be taken to take care of such a delicate issue.

Room, food

There is no TV and fridge. We bring sand to room with legs, but we can't clean it.

There is so much to say about white dreams. We felt so at home, Ivana and her team are amazing 😍 The food is really good. Everything very clean and has excelente beach views from the bedroom and all hotel. I could go on and on about this stay, totally recommend! Would definitely repeat. Thank you to all the staff 🤍

what a little gem run by an Italian family so the restaurant food was fantastic as was the small buffet breakfast with option for cooked omelettes, pancake's etc all served either on the beach or if you preferred in the small restaurant we also loved the cocktail bar on the beach that served very affordable pre dinner drinks and complimentary coffee and cake every afternoon a lovely touch. They also supply big beach towels and can arrange taxis or airport transfers. The access road is really awful and when we arrived I nearly had a heart attack and wasn't staying but once they opened the big wooden doors I was blown away at how blue and close the sea was as soon as we entered the hotel I forgot about it. I would recommend the lobster and any other fresh fish as we saw it dropped off at the beach from the fisherman and was cooked so well. Theres a good selection of wines at the hotel and its only a few minutes from a brand new Padel Club which was another bonus for us also great for kite surfing and other water sports are nearby. Also we didnt get 1 mosquito bite so another plus Will definately be returning and a must excursion is safari blue

Lots of seaweed on the beaches not sure if this was a seasonal thing or if its always like this but the water is still so warm and inviting just take some shoes for the sea urchins

Extremely nice and helpful staff - they did everything to make our stay comfortable. Restaurant on site is very good, so we ate there most of the time. Our favourite was the raw tuna salad - 2nd to none - never had such fresh fish.

Awesome place to stay. Excellent location with a view of the beach and see at all times - even lying in your bed. Beach is very nice and not so busy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food at restaurant very good. Loved the fresh fruit at breakfast each morning. A bonus is the tour company next door with very reasonable prices and friendly staff for day trips and excursions. Lots of little shops and very wide variety of restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

Aircons in the rooms would be nice and must admit a pool would also be nice for when it is low tide. Nevertheless we thoroughly enjoyed our stay without this.

White Dream is a wonderful place with very nice staff and delicious food, I recommend it 100%

The staff are so welcoming, simply the best. The room was very clean, the beddings are just top notch. I was worried that the mattress would be soft and uncomfortable because of my back but it honestly was one of the best mattresses I ever slept on, zero discomfort. The feeling of having a private beach is like no other. It felt like home, from your room to the beach, no crowd. The food was fantastic, not mediocre.

I wish the juice was freshly made. That’s my only complaint.

it’s right at the beach. It also have such a calming aesthetic. They food is very delicious, the pizza to be exact is worth every dollar. Ivana was such an amazing human being. She is so kind and gives an out of this world service.

The bathroom was not well ventilated at all. There was construction going on and we were not forewarned. lots of noise. Breakfast is the same everyday.

The best place to stay in Kiwengwa, it is absolutely as per the name white dream. Superb location and great maintained property Alberto and team have utmost care for their guests . Willl visit here again.

I really liked the location on the beach and the staff there were all very friendly and attentive!

We truly enjoyed our stay at White Dream. The rooms were very clean and the views on the ocean breathtaking. We would especially like to thank the extremely friendly and welcoming staff which truly made this stay the best we had in Zanzibar. We will definitely come back to White-Dream one day.

The hotel really lives up to its name, cause it was like a dream! Beach view from the hotel room, clean spacious roooms and comfortable beds. We ate delicious breakfast at the beach everyday. The food was amazing and they had great Italian and local food! The prices were also affordable compared to the others restaurants nearby. They also offered coffee and cakes every afternoon for free. The staff were incredible! We really felt like home here. On checkout day, we were able to checkout as late as we wanted to, which was incredible! We loved this hotel and would definitely go back!

- great location: rooms located almost on the beach, which probably is the best in Zanzibar (little algae, wide beach, no big resorts nearby); you can hear the sounds of waves all the time - very nice rooms: spacious and modern - wide food offer with great quality and good prices - very friendly and helpful owners and staff

The hotel is located very close to the ocean, everything is outside, the lobby, chill zone, restaurant, so you we were basically living at the beach and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was kind, the owner was very helpful, food was delicious, with reasonable prices. Would 100% recommend!

I would add air condition to the rooms, most of the time it was totally fine, but sometimes it was very hot during the night.

The place where you have to settle down in zanzibar. The place is very clean, the staff very pleasant, the food delicious. A real haven of peace.

Very close to the airport and big rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also they offer a transport for $10 even in the mid of the night.

The flush of our toilet was not working that good and in general the bath needs to be cleaned better because it has a lot of lime on the faucets.
