Plenty of space and storage for clothes. Lovely views. Hosts very friendly. Just a few mins drive to Shaftesbury. Good location for going out and about. Would defo recommend and would stay again.

Kitchen is tiny but fully equipped. The road down to the cottage is a bit dodgy and felt a bit sorry for my car but it is a farm road! Very close to the main house so be careful walking around in underwear!!

The location was good (after finding it). The sign is hard to see. The cottage is closed to Tesco, the town center and the main road. A nice welcome present on arrival, biscuits.

We wasted a lot of time and miles looking for the cottage. Driving down from London, after 3 hours drive we wanted to rest. That evening, someone nearby was using a chainsaw until 23:00. We were trying to sleep. It was very hot in the cottage but due to the noise we could not leave the window open. Very annoying. On the day of departure we were ready at 10:00 but wanted to see the end of a cartoon. At 10:10 the owner was knocking at the door to check if we were ready to vacate as the cleaner was due to come. She obviously did not clean before us. The coffee table was covered with dust. They were crumbs in the seette gaps. They were a pen under the bed.
