Best place to get away from it all, the drive was spectacular, the views were fabulous, the cottage was spic and span, everything one could ask for

The TV wasn't working so great, green tint to it, phone couldn't grab a connection, Internet connection wasn't possible from our phones, unless the wind was blowing in the right direction, so planning our outing was restricted, until we drove down the hill then could work out where to go next, I'd recommend you plan your trip well in advance, as google maps won't work without the Internet, not a place to be when theres bad weather, so high in the hills the clouds drop very low and you could easily get lost in your car, we only just dodged a storm, the locals don't appreciate slower drivers, everyone wants to overtake, so finding the cottage and driving towards it meant it was easy to miss the turning

Great location, rural, but close to the town, shop and pub. Well equipped cottage. Very poor internet which for us was great, as we could have phone detox :)

Knifes could be better. Other than that everything was perfect.

Gorgeous location and we'll stocked, comfy and warm cottage. Really pretty building and wonderfully furnished. Views were incredible, and we really enjoyed the isolation. Despite that, amenities are close (Buxton only 15 mins drive away) and lots of nice pubs nearby.

Lack of internet was a bit annoying but it's understandable for the location. We relied on our mobile data but it was incredibly hard to get reception. TV worked fine but quality of the picture was very poor. Lots of board games to play but some we're broken/missing pieces. Also a bit tricky finding the turning off the road in the dark!

Perfect view overlooking a valley, isolated and centrally located to a lot of points of interest. Cottage is very nice inside and outside, it has everything one could possibly need, including kitchen ware and a very nice functional bathrooms. Owner was very nice and accommodating.

Be careful driving down the driveway with a normal car as you might scrape the bottom. Stairs inside are on the steep side but one can easily get used to them.
