Location. Beautiful facility in a glorious environment.
Hosts are Super Hosts! Anthony is very friendly and engaging and went out of his way to assist us.

lovely to stay in an old stone house next to a forest
kitchen was a bit uncomfortable as it was a long narrow hallway converted into a kitchen & we had trouble passing one another BUT it was not too bad. The staff was very friendly & kind.

The whole house is clean and an ideal place for a large family get together. The rooms are unique, beds are very very comfy. Self catering facilities are excellent. We have had 3 different rooms in the property and haven’t been disappointed once.

Beautiful location, our self contained flat was beautifully and creatively converted. The place is spotlessly clean.
Owners were very helpful and welcoming. Lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep. We'll be back!

Great dog friendly place for a trip in the peaks. , we stayed in the wellbeck which was really spacious. It had everything we needed and is like a home away from home.
There are some great walks near by and others a short drive away.

Hargate Hall was a unique setting for our meet up with friends. The spacious apartments met the needs of our group perfectly - two families including 5 teenagers and a dog! The neo Gothic house exudes atmosphere! The charming apartments are tastefully decorated and furnished; the kitchens very well equipped and the sleeping and living areas extremely comfortable. The pound coin for the meter lasted the whole weekend and the apartment was warmer than our own home despite it’s high ceilings! We enjoyed the beautiful Peak District location nestled between the Spa town of Buxton and Tideswell (Cathedral of the Peak).
We wished we had booked a longer stay!

The hardwick room layout was not good watching the tv over the dining table shower was poor bad water pressure the microwave didn’t work there was wires hanging from the ceiling and a hole behind the loo got the impression the apartment wasn’t quite finished and l could hear the people in the apartment below but it wasn’t overly loud 2nd visit still haven’t seen anyone that works there

The location ia beautiful, surounded by magnificient landscape and very close to attractions such as Castleton, Blue John Cavern. The appartment was spotted clean, rhe chicken equipped with all we needed and we were very pleased to see there is a coffee machine in the lobby.
We do not have any complain.

Oddly, I thought, bath towels were not provided. I didn’t realise this from the booking.com information but the owner kindly brought some over.
