The apartment was fab. Lucy and her husband live below, and were on hand to help out wherever they could, whether that be posting my postcard for me ( as I couldn't find a postbox) to allowing us to store our luggage due to a later flight once we had vacated. The property itself was very clean and spacious, and Lucy had thought of everything from welcome drinks in the fridge, and tea, coffee, etc on tap. The little balcony/ terrace was great as we are both smokers and somewhere to have our morning cuppa, however obviously this time of year we had to wrap up warm but still made lots of use of it. The property itself is situated about 5 or 6 mins from Dam sq, which we found very useful with copius shops, eateries, bars, coffee shops, and lots of attractions. All in all, if you are thinking of a visit to Amsterdam, be sure to give this apartment a go, don't think we've had such a lovely welcoming host as Lucy before, everything was just perfect.

There was nothing not to like, unless you have poor mobility as the entrance into the property was up a steep flight of stairs, however, this wasn't a problem for us.

Lovely and comfortable apartment, clean and equipped. Its location is central. And Lucy was very nice to us... we recommend :)

The apartment is cute, it has a lot of appliances one can use and it also has a little outdoor space. The location is brilliant, everything is within walking distance and there are 2 tram stops only a couple of minutes away. The host was super nice, and they recommend places and restaurants to visit. The street the apartment is in is quiet at night and bright and busy in the morning. There is also a small convenience store near by.

There was nothing not to like about this apartment, the only feedback is for the host to provide an easier way for people to control the heating. I had to ask the host to switch it on as it is controlled from their phone and it felt as if I was disturbing the host when asking super late at night.

we love the location, the terrace and its bright and airy feel..it's great for catching sight of planes heading in and out of schipol, and a cinch for accessing trams and the shops. we love staying here and having a bolt hole to explore our favourite city.

Lucy's place was perfect! And even though it rained much of the time, we enjoyed the patio from inside and outside. Check-in was a breeze. We didn't get to meet Lucy, but her husband Dick was a great help in getting our cumbersome luggage up the stairs. The location was also perfect, walking distance to almost everything, and a tram stop just steps away for those further adventures. Will definitely return!

It's not really a "dislike" at all, just a warning. The narrow, steep stairway can be tricky with heavy luggage. But this is quite common in all of Amsterdam.

Apartment was lovely, located very central. Just a short walk from Central Train station. Both Lucy and her husband were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great location. Convenient to transportation, train station, all main sites. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Apt had everything we needed.

Very convenient apartment just off Damrak but on a peaceful street. Very well equipped, comfy bed and lovely patio at back with views over courtyards and small roof gardens. Close to supermarket and 10 minutes walk from Central station.

Lucy was perfectly welcoming and friendly. Very accommodating too. We look forward to returning, great balcony. Everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom toiletries! Perfect central location.

The stay was amazing everything was on the door step of the apartment and had loads of shops near by ie Zara + primark and lots food options near by also . A local shop near by was short walk from apartment. The apartment is really amazing and spotlessly. It had everything in the apartment you need and Lucy thought every little thing you need i really appreciated it made it such a comfortable stay .

Lucy received us with a warm welcome, showed us around the apartment and made sure we have everything we need. The apartment is super central, spacious, quiet, clean, fully equipped with an amazing balcony where we could sit and smoke. Definitely will be coming back here.

Facilities. Fully stocked apartment. Kitchen washing/dryer. Comfy bed etc. Location was great. Narrow stairwell but this is Amsterdam and quite normal.

A tad noisy from the street noise but so central youve got to expect that.
