conditions are bad - super old and uncomfortable furniture, dirty and broken toilet, no a/c and weak fan the same lankian room costs 1500-2000 rp on the market, i checked a lot of rooms and move quickly from this place

Questa guesthouse è davvero meravigliosa, è come essere in famiglia. Ho soggiornato qui 5 notti e sono stata meravigliosamente. La famiglia che la gestisce è splendida, attenta ad ogni esigenza degli ospiti, sempre sorridente e cordiale. La colazione è la migliore mangiata in Sri Lanka, cucinata tutte le mattine dalle sapienti mani della proprietaria. Il giardino è splendido, pieno di animali. Le camere sono semplici ma perfette; ho provato sia quella senza aria condizionata che quella con l’aria condizionata. Chiaramente la seconda è meglio, ma entrambe vanno benissimo e c’è anche lo spazio per stendere. Il wi-fi funziona molto bene, c’è un bel tavolo fuori da ogni camera (perfetto per chi come me viaggia e lavora) e la posizione è perfetta (a due passi dal centro, ma in zona tranquilla). La spiaggia è a soli 350 metri e nei dintorni ci sono tanti ristoranti in cui mangiare. Insomma un soggiorno perfetto, già non vedo l’ora di tornare ❤️

Beautiful rooms with veranda looking out on peaceful gardens, where we saw peacocks, monkeys and a huge iguana wandering around. Well away from noisy main road or beachfront parties, but only 3 mins walk to the beach. The owner Rasika was very sweet, looking after us in every way she could. The breakfasts were fantastic, especially when we asked for Sri Lankan food. She does laundry and if you want to go on trips she can arrange these for you.

Great location inbetween beach and main street and therefore quiet, outdoor seating, spacious room, option to eat at the restaurant

Bathroom wasn't clean. Even after requesting to have it cleaned again there was still hair in the shower, stains in the toilet and on the mirrow. There was no working wifi for most of the time.

Loved the spacious room, the A/C, location was perfect, the property is on a street full of other hotels/hostels, equal distance from the beach and the main street of the town, we could easily wal everywhere, loved the peacocks and monkeys in the garden, the breakfast and our super nice host lady.
