One of a Kind Renovated Church just outside Penn State!
Questa casa d'epoca è una chiesa del tardo '800. Quello che un tempo era un luogo di culto con i suoi alti soffitti è stato ristrutturato in un unico tipo di casa con tutti i nuovi bagni, cucina, letti confortevoli, veranda coperta e ampio cortile.
Ci sono quattro camere da letto che possono ospitare comodamente dieci insieme a due bagni e mezzo. Al primo piano troverete il padrone con il proprio bagno privato e letto matrimoniale, al piano superiore troverete una camera da letto con due matrimoniali, un'altra con un re, e una camera per i bambini con due letti singoli e anche un materasso ad aria queen per l'area comune. Un altro bagno completo è anche al piano di sopra.
Avrai tutti i comfort di casa in questo tipo di casa per goderti il viaggio. La nostra casa ha una cucina completamente attrezzata, asciugamani e lenzuola pulite, macchina da caffè Keurig (porta la tua K-Cup preferita), lavatrice e asciugatrice, internet ad alta velocità, TV via cavo, e tanto spazio per tutti per essere confortevole. Abbiamo anche fornito giochi da tavolo e libri e un sacco di posti accoglienti per goderseli insieme a un bar con gli occhiali (bevande non fornite)

We loved our short stay in this home. The host was very flexible and easy to communicate with. We were close enough to downtown PSU to make coming and going easy enough. This old church had so much character and was a really cool place to stay! Would stay again and recommend to family/friends.

A true conversion. An old church, now a VRBO. Exactly as advertised. Clean, comfy, and convenient. Some quirks and creaks to be sure, but that just added to the charm.

My husband and his friend went to State College for the USA Olympic Wrestling Trails and they said the place was great! Great location, great house, no complaints. Would stay again for other events at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Located in the heart of Pine Grove mills, this charming house suited our family well. We were 6 adults, siblings and cousins. Plenty of space for all. Loved the history of the house. Another cousin lives in Pine Grove Mills and has always been curious about the Church House and now she got to see inside. We had a family emergency and Sherry was very accomodating and responsive.

I have been driving by this place for years, admiring it from the outside. When I was looking for a local spot to host a dinner party and it popped up, I knew I had to rent it! It's just as wonderful on the inside as it is on the outside, just the right mix of modern renovations and antique charm. I was the only person who stayed overnight, and I used the downstairs bedroom. Upstairs is sort of a dormitory or hostel-like arrangement, a few rooms with several beds. It would be great for a large family or a group of close friends. If you are coming from out of town it is a good location for biking or a short drive to Whipple Dam park, Shaver's Creek / Lake Perez, Penn State, Historic Boalsburg, etc. Short walk to fine(-ish) dining and live music at Pine Grove Hall or Naked Egg Cafe for breakfast/lunch. Highly recommended!

Such a perfect place to stay when visiting state college

This charming home was the perfect location for our annual "sibling reunion," a group of eight 60+-year-old adults. Every year, we gather at State College for an overnight stay—a time to get caught up and to reminisce. The property is exactly as described. The spacious kitchen and dining room provided an excellent alternative to dining in a restaurant. Our hostess was responsive to our questions and requests. Lots of space and linens. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Highly recommended.

The home is magnificent! We loved all the details and the rooms were spacious. The house is close to Penn State so it was perfect for our family to celebrate our sons graduation. The kitchen is cute and had everything we needed to cook some meals. One funny thing that happened...my husband told me he was hearing voices in the night. He was not crazy there is someone who must reside in the lower level. I am a heavy sleeper so I did not hear anyone until the morning. It makes for a funny story. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back to see a football game!

This was a very unique and interesting place to stay. The location was very convenient if you are going to Penn State - only a few miles from campus. The owners were also very responsive when I messaged them. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Everything was fine but it's four bedrooms, not five. When I called the property manager about that she said there was an air mattress available. That would have been fine if the listing said five beds but it clearly said five bedrooms.

This was the perfect house and location for a family gathering over Easter weekend. My daughter and her fiance live in State College which is only a 15 minute drive away and the house had plenty of room for the 11 of us to hang out together in the large open plan living area, and for the 9 of us to sleep. There is also plenty of parking for family coming from various places in their own cars. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds very comfortable and there was plenty of seating both inside and out. We would definitely stay here again -- plus you cannot beat the price in the State College area.

The place was great, very authentic and "historical", the layout was perfect for us. It was a very easy in & out of state college to see my Daughter and a few sporting events. Overall, a great weekend! Thanks again for letting us stay in "the Church".

I mostly picked this home because of location-close to my mom’s memory care home & brother in Boalsburg. Location was perfect, but this home is so beautiful and unique. It had a special feel (like you were on vacation), not just a regular home. We actually reheated an entire Thanksgiving dinner. Kitchen was very well equipped. We watched the World Cup & a movie. The check in /check out procedures were so easy. Not too much on the way out-leave beds unmade & take out trash.
Our big dog was allowed to stay. He is a very good pup, easy and well trained, but a lot of properties only allow small dogs. Plenty of room for his bed.
I/we will definitely stay here again!! Thanks for opening up this home to visitors!!

It was a great way to fully relax with our family during our visit to State Colkege. It was convenient to Rec Hall for attending athletic events. We loved the layout and was very clean. Would stay again if we have the opportunity.

The actual home is as nice or nicer than the photos. Very well done, clean, close to the Penn State venues, welcoming, easy to access and well equipped. The building has good bones and we had a blast!!!! Highly recommend.

Our newest granddaughter was born in State College and our family came from SC, NC, and MI to see the newest member of our family. It was a short stay but the Church house was accommodating for our whole family.

We had family and friends at this lovely home for our sons wedding weekend. Everything was perfect. A great place to relax, refresh, and fellowship with family and friends! Our hosts made sure we had everything we would possibly need. They also graciously let us adjust our check in/out times to support an elderly family member traveling a distance. My husband and I have talked about having friends join us here for a PSU game weekend. We are!

Unique experience
We really enjoyed our stay! The renovated church was so cool and unique. The small town was refreshing, yet close enough to State College to spend the day checking out the campus. We would recommend this property to others.
