The shower was amazing. The kitchen was lovely.

The double bed was a bit squeaky.

Location was great. It is a few minutes walk from a footbridge that takes you across to the centre of Trakai yet you feel like you are in the country. It is only about 10 mins round the lake to the castle. The kitchen and one of the bedrooms has a view of the castle across the lake, the other bedroom looks out on the garden and fruit trees. We didn't meet the owner but they were very helpful and responsive to texts. We swam in the lake only a few minutes from the house which was lovely. Perfect place to have both and evening and early morning swim. Very quiet. Would definitely stay there again. We had a car which is why we chose this place but it is easily accessible from Trakai on foot so would be fine without a car as well.

A very minor point was the lack of breakfast bowls and large plates but the owner says they will remedy this and we ate out in the evening anyway. Otherwise it was lovely and we would definitely visit again if we are in the area.
