I've been in Berlin several times, but I never got a positive hotel experience as I had at KPM Hotel & Residences: the modernity and cleanness of the structure itself, the precise daily tideness of the rooms (also very spacious and with a very good ac system), the possibility to consume the waters and drinks from the fridge free-of-charge (or for example to also been able to use the fitness/sauna for free), the tranquillity of the neighborhood and the proximity to the Tiergarten and the Ku'Damm, for both nature and shopping; but above all the professionality and kindess of the whole stuff, from the reception to the cleaning staff, always welcoming you with a smile and able to take in any request or to solve any kind of problem we could have (we lost a key card).

Very convenient place to stay in Berlin. S-Bahn station and Tiergarten is nearby. The hotels is modern. The room was very clean and well-designed. The bed was comfortable as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel has nice asian restaurants and plentiful breakfast.

Everything perfect

The property was clean and S-Bahn station was an easy 6 minute walk.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff were excellent. Additionally, the location was brilliant enabling us to walk to a plentiful supply of bars and restaurants within a max of 20 mins. Also worthy of a mention is the public transport network which was clean, not crowded and on-time and put the UK systems to shame. We used the train to travel from Brandenburg Airport to within a 5 minute walk of the hotel and the cost of the pleasant 55 minute journey was just 4 euros each compared to around 65 Euros for a taxi. Berlin is 50% parks and the locals welcoming and helpful...we will definitely return.

THE ROOM......For the first night we were in a second floor room (No 206) on the front of the hotel which looked out onto the junction of 2 main streets and was directly above the hotel entrance. The traffic noise and conversation levels throughout the evening were totally unacceptable and neither my wife or I slept more than an hour or two in total. The room had a large glass frontage without windows however it also had a steel false balcony door that would open to reveal safety bars to prevent you falling out. This steel dooor did not seal at all and the noise level with it closed was virtually the same as if wide open. For night two I asked for a quieter room and we were moved to the rear of the hotel on the 4th floor. This room was really quiet and looked out onto a paved area and additional single storey buildings. BEDDING......The bedding was luxurious and expensive I am sure however the feather pillows were not comfortable as they started out quite firm but deflated like an air mattress in time. For ourselves we noted that one pillow didn't give enough support however two pillows gave too deep a support. Crucially though, my wife was allergic to the pillows (and I think the feather duvet too) and I have since learnt that feather allergy is quite common with one in five having an allergic reaction to such bedding. In hindsight I should have requested some alternative bedding but it took us a while to realise the cause of the problem. I am not sure if the hotel could have met such a request but I hope that, if not, they can stock up on non-feather bedding by the time we return.

The style is perfect of the hotel room as well as the location is authentic,metro locates near by hotel and there’s a perfect distances between cultural places and the breakfast is magnificent!!!

Quite far from the centre, but about 500 m from the station. Average food in the hotel restaurant.
